We have a New DGM, Shaitan, who was a former DGM from a while ago. Congrats on the appointment.

We also have a new EMS, Karva, who's Consul of CSP... Congrats :)

The Alliance of CSK with CSP had it's 2nd meeting. Training sessions aren't gaining the kind of attendance I was expecting, so I intend to change the time to an earlier slot. Please mail your summits on what times are good for these sessions.

The Clan is currently at 50, where did everyone go??? :P Summits.... get ya recruitment plans in action!

Another week in Aleema... and almost the usual things to report

COMPETITIONS

You all have heard about the new House comp, I assume. With two
divisions and a guaranteed way to get PRT for all participating ACOs,
this one should net more than just a few entries. I'm already anxious to
hear about your first step... and about the final one.

While you're on that though, don't forget the Krath monthly topic!

And the Murder Mystery League - we'll have quite a few scenarios to
solve over the next weeks. Our own entry was pretty good (though those
who didn't participate in writing it will all run an extra lap around
the Cathedral tomorrow... and no, I don't want to see anyone swim
through the lake... I mean the entire 28 miles)

FISH FRY

Our AED has something to say, too:

A short one this week cause I'm writing in-between writing papers.

It's good to see all the new NOVs and ACOs coming into Aleema and
having a good time (keep up the good work recruiters ;D). But what I
don't like is that once a newbie comes into Aleema, nothing happens.
Being a member of Aleema means three things: 1. having fun; 2. sending
me money (Tatsu, you missed last week's payment); and 3. staying
active. Even though we may not be in a huge Vendetta-type competition,
you can still be active. Start a run-on in your phyle, write a Dark
Voice submission (which you can also send to Kaiann or myself and we'll
put it on Aleema.net in your archive), or go simming with Elya. And
remember the DB meeting on IRC on Saturdays (even though I never do).
The more you do, the farther you will go and the more fun you will
have.

members... geez, your welcome mini-stories have awakened more of our
existing members than any motivational mails. Go on that way ;-)

I set a goal for Oct 19 - a third Phyle... requirement was 22 active
members... so keep recruiting!

1) The CSK Caption contest is going on.. PRT Lirak Kalist of House Galthain
won Round 3 and OW Mell is the judge of Round 4. Congrats to Lirak.. and
send in your captions to Mell at <[Log in to view e-mail addresses]>. He has released
the picture, and AED Gord sent it to you all.

HOUSE NEWS:

1) With the sudden departure of CMDR/JH Wil_Striker, Ghostrider Squadron
needs a new CMDR. Send your applications to myself and AED Gord Darkonian
ASAP if you're interested in moving up and becomg a Commander. House
Galthain also needs an Envoy. AED Gord explained about this spot earlier.

2) There was another multiplayer event/meeting tonight in #CSK..

3) There is the DB Murder Mystery League which involves fiction writing..
Our team of very bright and dedicated individuals wrote up a mystery (which
you all received). Since no other Sith houses participated in the MML,
we'll be competing with Krath houses. Details at

Remember:
*Acolytes can earn promotions to Protector by completing at least a 5
mission DB battle.
*A promotion from PRT-GRD can now be earned with the completion of at least
5 Dark Brotherhood battles.
