HLK News #46, Nov 10th, 2001
An extremely eventful week in the Brotherhood. Though rather than fill up about that here i'll just make a few brief announcements. I had to go to funeral yesterday, and went through the problems of installing XP this week (only really sound card problems but it took a bit) so again...sorry if i've not been around as much as i want just i seem to have a lot of RL problems for some odd reason. Anyhow, i've started writing up all the recs for promos/medals that are well overdue which i plan to finish and send off tomorrow :)
Well Bond's not made any special requests so I'll be sending the results off tomorrow upon which i'll publish them.
As usual the totals are attached, just a note i'm sorry but its NOT up to date right now as i've had a few bits to add that i had to delay due to the funeral i had to attend. So don't worry if anythings not on there as it WILL be added and i've most likely have recieved it :)
Orbs of Power continues, the details again:
The Orbs of Power
Set up:
First-
a multi-order run on.
Second-
Krath- Story. Search for the Orbs whereabouts through undercover work.
Obelisk- Mission design(to recover the Obelisk Orb)
Sith- Mission design(to recover the Sith Orb)
Third-
Krath- Story. Recover and return with the Krath Orb.
Obelisk-Multi/ player ladder.
Sith-multi/player ladder
Fourth-
Krath-Story. Determine what each of the Orbs of Power do.
Obelisk-Single player/screen shots
Sith- Single player/screen shots
Fifth-
Graphics. Create a graphic that goes along the story line.
Finally we have the results!
First Place and Winner of a Dark Cross:
Carl Lost with 92 flying points
Second Place, and Winner of 20 promotion points:
Darkmage with 52 flying points
Third Place and Winner of 30 Promotion Points:
Myrrkal Mystics with 45 flying points
So a Dark Cross will be going off to Carl and points to Darkmage and Myrrkal! :)
Well i've passed this onto Trev, though since he did a quick act of resigning and returning this could be delayed.
I'm appointing Commander CrimsonAngel as the Run-On guy. I'll leave thinking up a better more Sithy name to him :P
Anyhow, basically house run-ons are now in Crimson's command, he'll be doing the boring stuff that none of us want to in other words such as compiling them and making sure nobody goes off on odd path.....uhh.....maybe making Crim it was a bad move :P Anyhow...congrats Crim and i look forward to the results :)
Here it is again for those curious:
The rewards for all 5 events (XvT Ladder, XWA Ladder, TIE SP, XvT SP and XWA SP) will be a War Cross for 1st place and a Dark Cross for 2nd place. Each winner of a ladder match will also get a Cluster of Fire.

As you are no doubt aware we have had a new Grand Master appointed, our congratulations go to Grand Master, Vice Admiral Firefox. As you may or may not know Firefox was the Sith High Warrior and Battlegroup Commander of the Avenger Task Force, we wish him the best of luck in his new job! :)
Firefox has appointed Dark Jedi Primarch, High Admiral Astatine as the new Deputy Grand Master! Congratulations to Ast!
