I've settled in fine to the Office of Chancellor. I've been approving awards regularly, and plan to do so regularly. I have a few requests on awards though. Nothing too strenuous!

• If you're awarding something for a competition, PLEASE provide a URL to the competition so I can see the details. If it's for a weekly training night, please make mention of that also in the details.
  
• If you're awarding something based on merit, please be thorough in the reasons for awarding it. I'm not asking for an essay, but maybe a paragraph on why the person deserves the award. This is for higher awards, Grand Cross and above.
  

Otherwise, I'm pleased with the recommendations I get and have had no real problems with them. Keep up the good work!

As you know, I have revised the Medals of the Brotherhood. The URL to view them is: http://abyss.borkweb.com/ocl/awards.html. I've gotten a LOT of great suggestions so far, so please keep them coming! I'm going to release a new revision of the Awards by the end of next week that you all can once again tear apart :)

Rather than list every award that's been awarded in a week, I'm going to simply highlight the high awards (GC and above) in my report. This week, I've only awarded one high award, and that's a Sapphire Blade to Tron Sadow, Proconsul of Clan Alvaak. After receiving a recommendation from Consul Keiran Idanian about Tron's performance and looking into Tron's profile myself, I found that another Grand Cross simply wouldn't do. Tron has been a member of the DB for nearly six years, and he's produced three of the Dark Voices and has done an excellent job as Proconsul. His Sapphire Blade is well earned, congratulations Tron!

And now for Oracle stuff:

• Dark Voice Editors have been chosen! Congratulations to Paladorion (Humor Editor) and Daryan (Opinion Editor). Since I received no applications for Art Editor, feel free to send one in to me. Until I find one, I will function as Art Editor.

• I'm looking for Staff Writers. See my previous posting on DJB.org for full details. Short version is: e-mail your applications and samples of work to myself and the Editor of the section you're applying for. Two writers per section, and congrats to Maradin Jenkar for being the first Staff Writer for the Feature Section!

• I've written a new description of the Dark Hall, which is pending approval by Firefox and Astatine. Like my medal revisions, I'll post it for all the Brotherhood to read so you can give me commentary.
