Dark Hand Battleteam
Quiet week, still getting into the habit of things. There is currently a handful of competitions that Obelisk members may participate in, wouldn't hurt to try them, although only one involves playing JK.
Title: Topic of the Month Competition

Title: Artifact Creation Competition

Quote "I'm looking for good artifacts for possible use in future Brotherhood activities. You could even be the winner of this artifact at some later date.
Guidelines: I'd like one paragraph on each:
Creation of the artifact
History of the Artifact
Effects/powers granted, and how they are activiated.
Detrimental Effects
Level of user required.
Order Specific, or not?
Artifacts with a poor balance of atributes will be rejected. Obviously a Amulet with powers atributed to powerful Dark Jedi, IE: (Force Lightning, Instant-death) would nut be usable by an Apprentice, or even a Dark Jedi Knight. You need to take this into consideration.
All entries have a possibility of being used at a later date. If your's is being kept on file, I'll notify you. You might recieve an award/additional reward when/if it is used.
Whoever creats the "best" artifacts (most realistic) will receive a Bronze Scroll/War Cross, and the second place will receive a Dark Cross. You are free to submit as many different artifacts as you wish, but may only win one award at this time.

Lastly, this isn't a DB competition, or related to it, but its an EH wide one. Battlestats.com has been running for a long time and the EH has been an active group on it for atleast two years now. I'm not sure how active we are in JK events on it, but the next one is scheduled for Feb, so we shall see when it comes around. I'll find out more info where possible and put it in my report next week. For now you can sign up ready for participation.

OHC Sharad has also promised an Obelisk wide competition soon, hopefully this week, maybe next week. Other than that not a lot to say. We could use a few more of you joining the battleteam, would make arranging competitions with the other battleteams easier, two opponents isn't ideal for them. I also can't award one person for being overly active compared to the rest if there are no others. Which is a shame.
