Edition #002 - March 2nd, 2002

And welcome. This is the second edition of The Week on HLK and your milk-drinking Quaestor, SBM Scithe, directly from my soft reclinable chair on Quaestor's Office (thanks again to Goatboy... :p) to bring you the latest news about this nut-house known as House Ludo Kressh. *

As a first matter, I would like to remember again that squadron reports are to be on my desk on Friday. This is special to Emerald CMDR, Darkmage, who was asking when to send his reports. By the way, Congrats Janos on your promo and new room.
<p> <li>Activity <p>As I've promised last issue, a very big amount of comps brand new for ya, brought by our everworking, everdrinking and oftenwhining commanders from Sapphire and Diamond Squadrons. If they keep this pace, I'll become useless in enough time...
As for now, we have the Crimster's Monthly Flying Comp, Bob's Monthly Melee, Diamond vs. Sapphire, and even that Andevia stuff (I wonder when it ends...). That reminds me I need to update that info on Kressh Fortress someday...</p> <p></p> <li>On the Works <p>The Multiplayer season is already open, which leaves me with more time to concentrate on other stuff more related with the membership as a whole. First of all, I want to start a little poll on the HLK Message Board about your disponibility to a MP training course and obviously your ideas to enhance such a course. This poll is also to see if someone is in fact reading this damn long thing or just filing somewhere to be forgotten... More details at the MB soon. (To the Message Board) </p><p>In order to have access to the Message Board you'll have to finish registering your profile on the Kressh Fortress. Explaining in a simple way, I need everyone that still didn't go there to please enter here and fill your profile. I know the site seems weird at first view, but you'll soon find some logic in it. To have an overview of the Fortress, click on the Base Directory on the lower part of the screen. If you are GRD or under, you should be on some room on Level 8. If you're JH or DJK, try Level 11. SW+ are on Levels 13, 14 and 15 on the VIP rooms. If you are really hopeless and could not find your quarters after that, try the Rollmaster's Office (Level 13 - room 1301). There's a roster with the room assignment for everybody on the crew. Just click the number of the room beside your name. To those who have never entered the profile information, the temporary password is "12341234". Yep, that easy, that stupid... So remember to change it when entering your info.
Last time I checked, there was 20 or so people without registering their data...
Another thing, if you feel like to idle the Fortress and find an empty spot you think you can fill with something, be it a informative text or even a good set of pictures or anything else, please send me your proposal. It's a really imense work to fill all the places on this magestic construction, so I'll need all help I can. Medals on mailbox if you do something really interesting... </p><p></p> <li>Awards and Promos <p>Promotion time! Big congratulations go to:

Diamond: The Bob crew is getting ready to try and reclaim their lost position as the first squad on the House from when Goat and me were CMDRs (it seems so old now...).
Sapphire: SW (wow!) Janos is still looking for a replacement as XO. The contest between Diamond and Sapphire is the main focus this week.
Emerald: By some strange reason, Emerald report came on Wednesday. Not a problem, you know, but it's better to have all reports at the same time for them to cover the same period. Darkmage is trying to get his squad back to work and compete as equal on the monthly comps. </p> <p></p> <li>Closing Notes <p>I still want to hear from ya.
