I apologize for my drunken state last night which caused me to be late with this weeks report. Theres a lot of info this week. Everyone, please welcome our newest addition, Knight Camile to our House. Weve had several recent additions in the past few weeks, and Id like everyone to start assisting our new recruits however possible. Phyle TETs, I would suggest you start getting in contact with any of our new recruits, make sure the ones who have yet to join a Phyle are aware of their options of Phyles.

happening so I'll get right down to business.
I'd like to welcome Kidouses back into the Mystic fold. Some of you don't know him so it is up to you to
get to know him. Glad to have you back Kidouses.
The intra phyle competition will be coming to a close on Monday. Please have your story sent to Kodiak
and CC myself by then. Shiny medals will be given out to the winners. If you need a reminder of the topic
feel free to ask me or just take a look at some of my old reports. I do post them before I send them out
and they stay for about a month before I delete them.
Our message board is looking pretty pathetic. Get to posting Mystics!

Clan News:

If you have been visiting the boards, you know we have a Clan fun debate coming up, sponsored by myself, debating whether Gladius is truly STILL the insane House of Tarentum. Our Sith Brother of Tridens, Murkow Defender, would like to claim the title of lunacy for himself and Tridens. This comp is purely for fun guys, and I hope youll all participate and enjoy.
It is open to the entire Clan, and you will have the opportunity to debate alongside or against our fellow Clansmen of Cestus and Tridens. For more information on this debate, look into the Clan section of the Message Boards. More info is found there. Also, make use of our own boards! Go to the Gladius section and post. Post new ideas for comps, ideas for run-ons, or start a run-on! If youve got a nickname youd like for use on the Message Boards, once you register, I can help get you in touch with Proton, who will be only too happy to help you out, as he has done with a number of us already.
House News:
The intra-phyle competition is on! If youre not in a phyle, I suggest you inquire to either myself or one of our Tetrarchs, Telona Murrage of the Mystics, Kodiak Tonaloc of the Wizards, about joining one of our two excellent phyles. The intra-phyle competition, The Annoying Tyro focuses on how each phyle members believes the other phyles TET would deal with an annoying Tyro. Kodiak and Telona are running this one, and I would suggest you look to them for more info. Lets have fun with it Gladius!
Also, we now have a House mailing List. And yes! We can use it! The mailing List is [Log in to view e-mail addresses]. If youve not yet been added to the mailing list, Ill be making another check again today, and send out another subscriber. For those of you who do not wish to be a part of the list, and would prefer to maintain emailing through individual addresses, this is also fine. Its not a mandatory list.
House Summits, we should be remembering to place our reports online at the DB website, just in case people need to look for them there.

--Merit Points:
Remember Gladius, medals and promotions can be earned faster, by mere participation. Merit points are given as you participate, and more activity brings more points, which yields medals and promotions. Awards and promotions according to point requirements as follows:
-Dark Cross -- 50 points
-War Cross -- 150 points
-Steel Cross -- 300 points
-Grand Cross -- 450 points (because Activity is the heart of the Brotherhood philosophy)
up to GRD -- 150 points
JH to DJK -- 300 points
above DJK -- 450 points
I have not yet assigned a minimum/maximum point limit yet, but points will be awarded for quality, length, and extra points may be awarded for special considerations. Points can be earned for stories, poems, run-on participation, pic submissions for fun comps, anything. Points can also be awarded for those who participate in the run-ons, discussions, etc., currently on the Clan Message Boards. Extra points awarded for anyone who starts and gets run-ons going.
--Dark Voice Submissions:
When you submit to the Dark Voice, you can earn merit points for those submissions as well. Make sure you CC those submissions to your AED/QUA so that we know to award you for your activity above and beyond what you may receive for submitting.
