I see we have a few making efforts to recruit, keep up the good work. I'd like
to welcome back SBL Rapier, who returns to CSK from the rogues, he joins us in
Galthain and is appointed the honorary position of Clan Elder. He's going to be
helping out our envoys! :)</div>

<div>Yesterday saw the first of many CSK meetings. We use to do
these about 6 months ago, but they didn't go too well, This time round however..
I'm pleased to say it was rather successful. Things the jokes instead of trivia
went down a treat, even when they went a bit risqué:P The next one should be

makes me a happy chappy, if we can get a few more people to these meetings and

themselves a shiney new Steel Cross for beating AoDni a phly vs.phyle
competition.</div>
<div>congrats in two ways, first for winning , and
second for getting a steel cross for it, cause as it looks like we'll be
having a new competition medal soon that is going to be used for all comps DB
wide.</div>

hand any col medal before this becomes a law, start a comp quickly
, get asts approval for it, and put there that you'll be handing SCs

FISH FRY:
Well, after a couple
weeks of nothing here, I got bored (read: I'm
slacking. I should be writing a
term paper) and decided to start this
column up again.
What's the
topic? Sports, of course. When I can't think of anything to
talk about, I
delve into the wide world of sports. Which, for me right
now, is about as
exciting as watching the SW trilogy again ("OH MY GOD!
Luke got sucked under
by some...thing! Will he live?! Will he die?!
PLEASE DEAR LORD KILL LUKE!!!!
Shoot his head, Han! Put him and us out
of our misery! YES! He's dead! No
more Lu--carp, there he is. Maybe
he'll die in ESB or RotJ if I watch them
again. You never know with all
those changes Lucas made...").
Where
was I? Oh yes. Sports today. Baseball started, hockey and
basketball are
winding down, football is approaching the draft, the
Masters, tennis is
on...basically, it sucks. I hate baseball (I sit on
my ass for half the day,
but nobody calls librarianship a sport),
tennis bores me to no end (if I
wanted to watch people run after a
tennis ball, I'd play fetch with my dog),
hockey and basketball won't
end until June (only in Canada is there snow and
ice on the ground in
June), and the Masters lasts only four days. Baseball,
basketball, and
golf all have the same problem: you know who's gonna win.
Baseball?
Yankees. Basketball? Lakers. Golf? Tiger. Where's the
excitement.
Of course, here's what normally happens in our
apartment:
Wife: Are you watching baseball?
TT: Uhhh...yeah.
Wife: Why?
You hate baseball.
TT: True. But there's nothing else on.
Wife (grabbing
the TV guide): Hmmm..."Baywatch" is on in 10 minutes as
are "Jeopardy",
"Friends", "Scrubs" [note: "Scrubs" is the best comedy
you haven't seen. If
it's on, watch it!], and the Food Network is
having an all-day pizza-making
contest. Bullshit there's nothing on.
TT: Oh look. The batter just grounded
out to second. Whee.
Btw, the NFL draft is next weekend. I predict the
Dolphins will take a
defensive lineman or a linebacker with their first pick
(which is in
the second round thanks to the Ricky Williams trade).
