Well here's my second report as AED for the house. Still getting in the

swing of it all. I'd also like to get some feedback from you all in regards

to what you want to see in the reports. I'm using a template from SwipeRs

old reports, however if I send the same info to you it's just doubling up on

what he sends out in the week too. So if any of you have any other ideas you

just let me know.

Anyway onto the main part of the report...

Activities

From OWL Sharad Hett:

1. There will be a JK1 and JK2 tournament Saturday, May 4th which starts at
   

3:00 PM EST in #Obelisk. It will be a single elimination tournament with

online brackets available as the tournament progresses. The settings will be

full force sabers teams (2v2) and you may use the level of your choice for

JK2 and Battleground Jedi for JK1. At least 8 participants (4 teams) will be

required for each tournament to take place. GCr will be awarded to the

winner and SCr for the runner-up. CFs will be awarded to those that win

matches just like a normal multiplayer competition. Please note that you

can't play in both tournaments since they'll be going on at the same time.

Mairin or Firefox will be the host for this.

From myself:

1) I'm starting a new Ladder competition. Each round will last one month.

This current one will start today and end on the 31st. The actual ladder

will only be sent out to you all in my weekly reports. This means you will

be partly in the dark about your true ranking until I send it out to you

all. It just means you need to strategies a little more. All the info/rules

on the ladder will be explained at the bottom of the report.

Well not to scare any of you but I'm about to make a start on making the

House web site. Now from what I understand a new site has been promised for

some time. Well I will get one done, but I am a slow designer so don't

expect it next week or anything. I have a few ideas on what I'm doing. Let

me know if you have any ideas too or even if you want to help out. Awards

will be given to anyone who wants to take part in the design team.

Miscellaneous

As you all know there is an AWOL report being run at the moment. Most of you

are OK on this. If you have not let SwipeR know your still around, please

do so ASAP.

For those of you who don't know. We have a new brigade in the House. it's

called Dark Infantry Elite (DIE).

Ladder

¯¯¯¯¯¯

Now onto the ladder comp. The rules for the ladder will change from month to

month as I work out which will be the best format to use. For now everyone

will start of with 20 points. Matches can only be 1 on 1. The winner will

take a point from the loser. If you get as low as 0 you are out of the

ladder until it starts over next month. The member with the most points on

the 31st wins. You can play as many games as you like. The only limitation

I have is that you can not play the same person twice in a row. You can play

either JK 1 or 2 and any battle ground or force level is OK. Just make sure

you decide before playing. Once a match is over the winner needs to email

me with the result and CC his opponent on the email too (If you forget to CC

the opponent I will actually void the match and no point will be awarded).

Now here's where the strategy comes into place as if you play someone in the

week who has already been reduced to 0 points since the last report and you

win, you wont actually be given a point as the loser has none to give away.

If you lose to this person, you will not lose a point as he is already out

of the comp. Awards are still to be decided, I'll let you know about them

next week.
