I have completed the first draft of the Competition Guide. It has been sent to GM Firefox and DGM Astatine for their own commentary. Once they get back to me, I'll release it to the rest of the Dark Council for further comments, and then finally release it to the public. Expect this to happen over the next week or so.

There exists some issues with people writing medal recommendations incorrectly. Just to reiterate, for the Steel Cross and above, you MUST write a recommendation longer than a one or two sentences. Cite specific examples of the person's work, as well as their time in their position (if any) and any other important details. A medal should be awarded for a good reason, and the more detailed the recommendation, the more the awardee will know that you appreciate their work.

The deadline for Dark Voice 27 submissions is June 7th, next Friday. The weekend will be spent compiling the DV and sending out appropriate awards. Remember, the top five submissions (chosen by myself and Korbane) receive Dark Crosses as well as Dark Side Scrolls. As for big awards this week, OHC Sharad Hett and Rizlib were awarded Grand Crosses of the Dark Side for their work on the GMRG website. Truly spectacular web design, so check it out!
