Greetings my Dark Jedi and Fellow Summits :)
What a great week it has been for us :) No don't say 'it has'nt' because it has, well its just got better........please refer to the news section straight after here to see why i am rather relieved and in a good mood :)
I also want to get some updates on any web sites being made for the House at the moment. The DGM wants to see them online asap and kept updated :P As i don't do HTML i have no idea on how much time it takes etc, so i can't really comment at the moment about it.
Anyway....my pinkies are twitching to type out the news.....so i'll stop rambling and get on with it....;)-

House Kirleta vs House Dinaari Feud gets the go ahead!!!!! - I am very pleased to announce that today i received a mail from the DGM automated comp service that the Feud has been given the nod :)) Now don't panic.....due to the medal mix up i had to deal with i had to alter the running time of this comp. So it will commence on the 20th June and run to the 20th July. So you have still got time to train and get ready for action. This will also give the RM, GRD Aishea time to sort out the old Vendetta ladder that OWL Rizzy once used for our last Vendetta competition. PCON Darkonian is setting up a DB wide Comp! - PCON Darkonian in a mail during the week started a discussion for a DB wide comp. Just ahead of the GJW, this will hopefully kick everyone into shape and give the clan a chance to see what it can do. Now from what i have been told, here are some of the elements for the Obbies -
JK lvl design (1 & 2)
JK Skins (1 & 2)
JK ladder (1 & 2)
If your like me and cannot do skinning and level design/editing, then what we could do to bring everyone in to get involved is bang our heads together to come with a great idea for some levels/skins for the House. That way its a group effort. Also some people will be given the chance to test the level/map and give it a rating so the powers that be can then play it themselves and get the final say. When this comp gets the go ahead, we need to get some ideas in for a MP map/level asap and get working on it. Ofcourse those who will be making the level will have the last say as they know what they can and can't do. Keep an eye out for updates!
House comp has 2 weeks left! - As you know the House comp ends on the 30th, so you have until then to get your screenshots in peeps! For those of you who have just joined and wish to take part, the rules are simple, screenshots must be against a living opponents, not just bots. You can play a match against a real person and have bots present (as in just training). The point here is to show that you are training with a live opponent that will present a bit of a challenge. Good luck ;)
House Web Sites - As i stated earlier in the report, i wanna see some progress updates on the House/brigade web sites. The DGM has expressed a wish to see these online with a link from the main roster page. I will be giving medals for the work done on creating these web sites for the House. But i have to see progress here. No good saying to me 'i'm doing one', send me the link, let me see what your up to and what your planning. I can then talk it over with my AED, PCON & CON and come up with a medal for your efforts. Purty simple really.
House Training nights - Now that our numbers are higher than ever before, i DO want to see more of you online in channel #csk on mIRC. When i see a steady stable good number of us online i will then arrange weekly training nights. At the moment we do not have the sufficient numbers online to make decent impact on the channel to make this happen. I need to see a stronger turn out you guys. With the numbers we have, we're the largest House in the clan. And in the up & coming comps, we have an obligation both to ourselves and to the clan to help retain its honour & aid us in a decisive victory over our opponents. Some come on!! Don't be lazy...get yer ass's online and support the House and Clan! The OHC also noticed the low numbers of Kirleta members online. Lets make him change his tune ;)
SGT's to organize mini comps! - Under the DGM's Project Thallium , i want to see the house SGT's writing ideas for a mini comp. Now i spoke to the SGT on the House Cestus brigade (one of them anyway), and he is up for a mini comp with one of our brigades whilst everyone prepares for the GJW. Now i want this to happen as i want to see how good they are compared to one of my Brigades. This will effect my decision of a future Feud with House Cestus. I am planning to Feud with each Obelisk House until we are the undesputed #1 House. Call it my plans of expansion for the House and to cement the name 'House Kirleta' into DB history! :) It will be a great day when this House is once again hailed as the the place to be.....undeniably ;))
JK2 Dueling etiquet - I will mention no names here on this matter. But a mail was sent to me by a very upset Obelisk trooper about certain behaviour in online matches/training sessions. Now...i have dealt with both parties on this matter, and seen both sides of the story. I have decided to address the whole House on this matter to avoid further complaints against the members of this great House as it reflects back on me as your QUA. I want us to have a friendly yet competetive presence in ALL comp/training enviroments. The mail that was sent pointed out the actions (accused actions apparently) of someone of this house as i have said, the person went on to add that, 'they hoped it was'nt a reflection on all members of the House' - this kinda made me see red and i rebuffed the comment and made them take it back as i have duelled and defeated this person several times in the past few weeks. Here's what the accusations were -
Killing someone whilst they are in consol (chatting or changing skin/saber colour etc)
Using backstab (when agreed to not to use it in a duel, mutual from both combatents)
Repetative moves (when dueling, those who can't just duel use moves where theres no getting out of it, therefor no skill is involved just an unfair advantage)
Verbal abuse ( personal insults etc )
For goodness sake people, don't do any of the above! Be polite at all times! - Your representing the House/Clan and also OW Waza/Myself & Your SGT!
Try and out duel them with skill! - repeating unblockable moves show that you cannot duel with some degree of skill. I have fought against some who use only two moves, both unblockable, and it is frustrating. So fight with honour and skill......out duel them and then laugh at them ;)
If you agree to leave out certain moves during a duel, i.e. backstab, then keep to your word! If they don't, then its a poor reflection on them and not you.
Follow the simple rules and everyone will be alot happier and the games will run smoother and without conflict.

1)a slow week in the house comp ,,just a reminder the matches must be against other players not just bots. And you have till the end of June to get in your screenshots.
2) the july comp is quickly approaching so here are some links to download teh tools to begin working on figureing out how to make levels/mods/skins. this is a learning comp so we can rack up huge points in the GJW so dont worry if you think it looks silly or whatever unless you say so I will be the only one to actually see your finished product, now if you want yours posted a web site is being built for this comp we can have it posted there for all to download, just if you want it posted remeber the LEC read me file.

Well its a step in the right direction for this house now that the Feud has the go ahead and also more members coming in. I do want to see the Brigade SGT's looking into taking on other Brigades in a quick MP tournament that could last a week at a time possibly. Maybe longer, its up to you guys, but do let me know what your planning to do.
Remember folks! - The House AWOL check could come at any time, so keep yer eyes peeled. You to answer only to me!! So don't spam the House mailing list with a single line mail. Others don't wanna read it. You will have 5 days to reply when you see the mail. And remember, that talking to me online does not count! After having spoken to the PCON about the AWOL check, he gave me some outlines to follow, and a mail to the QUA is all that is needed. It also helps if you tell me what your up to, so i get a picture of your schedule.
Those who fail to reply to the AWOL check (unless they are onleave and have sent an official mail to me/AED/SGT) won't have to worry. I will post the people who will be removed from the roster in the following report of that week.
