In light of a complaint made against me, and some poor medal recommendations, I'd like to say the following: I don't get an enjoyment out of rejecting medals. In fact, rejecting medals just makes more work for everyone. Are my guidelines strict? Some would say so, but I am more than willing to help anyone write a recommendation that will be acceptable. I think all DB members should keep in mind that the Dark Council is not only here to be the "rulers" but it also exists to serve as a guide and resource. If you have any questions about the medal system, please talk to me before you recommend a medal that might be wrong, or consult the Medal Guide. I don't bite, despite popular opinion :P

Also in the medal world, the Medal of Tactics series of medals has been added into the database, per SHW Yacks' request. Also, all you MP fanatics, the numbers for the upgrades of the Cluster of Fire have been lowered! They are now:

25 - Red Flame

50 - Green Flame

100 - Purple Flame

250 - Black Flame

This week, RO Keiran Idanian recommended Cymbre Kall for a Grand Cross of the Dark Side for her coverage of the Episode II Convention. Her medal has been awarded and congratulations to Cymbre! You can see her photos at http://members.fortunecity.com/bubblex2000/swcelebration2/.

Finally, CON Keldorn has returned. He had to undergo an emergency apendectomy (the removal of his appendix) on Sunday, and was not discharged until Tuesday night. As thus, the Dark Voice will be released this weekend. I will start taking submissions for Dark Voice 28 on Monday, the 17th. I once again apologize for the delay, but it could not be helped. Keldorn is, by the way, recovering just fine.
