1) Well, it was a rather eventful week. Many people are aware of the big fuss over the sudden promotion of Dark Jedi Knight Keldorn, Consul of Naga Sadow. He jumped 3 ranks! But it was all a mistake from the Master At Arms who thought it was a mistake that he was still at that rank. Everything has been fixed, people have been talked to, etc.

2) While Keldorn was put back at his old rank, I believe he did enough to at least justify a promotion to Krath Priest. Congratulations!

3) I have also decided to promote Krath High Priestess Mairin Astoris to the rank of Dark Jedi Master. Her work has been outstanding so far and she routinely goes above and beyond the call of duty. Her devotion to the Dark Brotherhood and its members cannot be questionned and I can rarely, if ever, find fault with what she does. I definitely wish I had more dedicated members like her.

4) The Master / Student program that was started in a couple of Clans months ago is doing very well. So well in fact that I have asked the Headmaster, Krath Epis Troutrooper to write some guidelines on it. The idea is to provide the basic ideas and principles behind the program and let the Clans adapt it for their own use. The Clans who do not have it in place already anyway. Keep in mind that this does not mean that the Shadow Academy is taking over. We are simply providing the necessary information for those who might want to start their own program like that.

For those who do not know about it, basically it involves senior members of a Clan who take junior members under their wing and teach them about the Clan and the Dark Brotherhood. The Headmaster will most likely contact the persons responsible for the established programs and ask for their thoughts on the subject.

5) One last note. Before freaking out about something (like what happened with the mistake about Keldorn's 3 rank promotion), come talk to me. 95% of the time you'll find that it's a simple misunderstanding or something like that. Someone less tolerant or less understanding might actually kick out people who incite mutiny and encourage sedition.
