Daavak Cantor closed the communiqué notifying him of his new assignment. It's been so many years since he's held any kind of position of authority. And now, so soon, such a position has been given to him. He grinned.
"Another chance to make a difference...another chance to be heard."
He stood and strode to the quarters of his fellow Angels to tell them of his news...

A recent change has been made to the Crescent award. Complete info listed on the news page.
The CSK/CSP feud has been officially completed and scored. I won't spoil it for you...check the news.
A new comp has been announced, and to our benefit, it is a Krath style event. All orders are welcome, but being the masters of the mind that we are, we should make sure our voices are heard!
In addition, the usual Order Leader reports are displayed as well. Take a look.

1) As was mentioned by our QUA Shups, the board is pretty solid. No annoying popups, ads, etc. Just a quick sign up if you haven't done so already and of you go to the proverbial message board utopia. Well, maybe not that good. ;P But close enough.
2) DarkHawk of Galthain has been promoted to DJK! One more saber to add to the bunch...gratz to him.
3) Yours truly has been assigned to be the new TET of AoD. And there was much rejoicing. No really, there was some. A little. Ok I sat in the corner and cried. So what. grins jk
4) Aleeman Warning Labels comp is now in stage 3. We kinda missed out on this one. I made it to round two but got knocked out. Next time, though. We'll give em some real competition.
5) As per results on the CSK/CSP fued, the following awards were earned...
a) KE Daavak "Tronsta" Cantor - Crescent with Ruby Star - 1st place in K2 event.
b) KE Deus Excelsior - Crescent with Ruby Star - 1st place Open Graphics event.
c) DJK Maradis Jenkar - Crescent with Amethyst Star - 2nd place Open Run-on event.
d) KE Kaiann - Crescent with Sapphire Star - Joint 3rd place in Open Trivia event.
Excellent work! 4 medals in a 6 member phyle. Not too shabby. Wonderful job, everyone.
Daavak walked through the lounge area and watched as his fellow Angels celebrated their newly earned awards. They had earned it. CSK had come up a bit short this time around, but next time would be different. He knew it. He looked into their eyes and saw they thirsted for victory. An award was simply not enough...they wanted more...
Misc.:
1) The new comp as posted on the DB news page is a Master-Student comp. Basically, two people pair up and enter the comp together. Nothing else is explained, only that it will be an interesting and a, no doubt, challenging contest. It sounds interesting. Whoever is interested in signed up to this comp (we have until Oct. 20th to decide!) let me know. We have 6 people. Perfect for pairing. If we can establish 3 pairs that would be 100% participation! Anyway, let me know ASAP if your in or not.
2) The Sith have their XvT/XWA to play, the Obelisk have their JK/JK2 to play. But what do we Krath have to play? Well we need activities to stimulate our minds, wouldn't you agree? Here is what I'm planning...
a) A series of word games. Good ones, nothing childish and useless. The objective is to think, to train your minds to be as dynamic as possible. After all, a Krath with no dynamics might as well hang his robes up and take the walk down wash up lane. More on this to come.
b) Chess. The classic mind bending game of perfect strategy. There are a few ways we can do this. I'm thinking of email chess. Basically, we email moves to our opponent and we both keep a diagram of the board positions on our own ends. Simple explanation, for now. More on this to come as well.
3) Drop by our IRC channel, #CSK, on the Undernet. Drop a hello, chat a bit, drank a beer. Let CSK know your alive and well.
4) So far I haven't heard from anyone yet except Deus. While he will be very very busy, he will check in and hopefully find time here and there to participate a bit in an activity or two. In the mean time, everyone else, please email me as soon as you can and let me know if you're alive. As I mentioned, we are all busy. If you have a situation you need worked with, let me know. I'm flexible.
Daavak left the Krath to their enjoyment and closed the lounge door behind him. Strolling quietly to his quarters, he was intercepted by the newly appoint QUA of House Aleema.
"How you handling all this?" Shups said. Daavak shrugged casually.
"I'm rusty. Been a while."
"It's just a battlegroup. I doubt you'll be seeing any house summit action anytime soon." A sly grin snaked over Shups' face. Daavak returned the grin with one of his own. He turned back towards his quarters and spoke as he walked.
"I would hope there wouldn't be. Not now, anyway..."
