Greetings House Ronin,

Ive missed sending out reports recently, but with the time spent searching for a new job, and babysitting my pilots in Wing XIV whilst the EH.net database is down, you can well imagine Ive been pretty busy. This report will however only include info from this past week, or news that I want to remind everyone about. ;)<o:p>/o:p

Since my last report we have introduced the new House Ronin Promotion/Awards System. So far this system has been met with a great deal of enthusiasm. I personally have received a number of emails thanking the House Summit for getting this into play so that the members are now aware of what they need to accomplish in order to reach a new rank or obtain a new medal. Remember, from time to time the House Summit and the CMDRs can still recommend a promotion or medal for a member even if they havent reached the required goals. But these will be for members that have shown outstanding dedication and merit such exception. CMDRs, be sure that all of your pilots know where to find the System, and that every time you get a new pilot they are also instructed to review it immediately. My recommendation is that each Battleteam get an updated site setup and have a copy of this posted within a page on that site so that your members can more easily find it. ;)<o:p>/o:p

The CON has announced that a new Clan-wide Comp has begun titled Contest of Champions! Heres what I know so far: <o:p>/o:p

All details have been worked out for the "Contest of Champions" and we will proceed. Our winners will be given a title, one that will be held as an honorary title until our next "Contest of Champions." Our projected end date is mid October (between the 15-19). Quaestors and Aediles, get your warriors ready and commence.<o:p>/o:p

Our Obelisk house will proceed with a JK II ladder and narrow themselves down to the last warrior standing, Alvaak's Obelisk Gladiator Prime. <o:p>/o:p

Alvaak's Sith Top Ace will be earned by way of an XWA ladder. The last pilot still flying, no matter the condidtion of his ship, will be our hero.<o:p>/o:p

The Alvaak's Krath Instructor shall gain their title by competeing in a story competition, of which the Consul will be judge. The chosen topic by our Krath Summit is: "There can be only one." For the Sith, there are always two, for the Krath, there can be only one. The first was Krath himself, the dark god who birthed our order in the Empress Teta system, then there was Ullic Quel-Droma, but now, there is no One, there is no Champion of the Krath, and so we are less than our potential. But the time has come now for a new Champion, a new One who will lead the Krath to its greatest glory, and with the other Dark Side Champions, will cloak the galaxy in the shadow of fear and the glory of the Dark.<o:p>/o:p

Unfortunately neither the QUA or I actually know what exactly the CON has in mind, so SWL Nightflyer is currently trying to find out so that we can get started and have some fun! J<o:p>/o:p

Speaking of new sites. Im currently looking for someone to create House Ronin an entirely new kickass site, complete with a working PHP News database, etc. We need some great features and a whole new look to help us demonstrate that House Ronin in back in action and should be taken seriously. CPT Drako of Diamondback Squadron has been the official web designer for Wing XIV for a number of months, and he never ceases to amaze me when he comes up with something new! Black Omega is in the process of setting up a competition with another Battleteam outside Ronin! CMDR Tissaya Argat informed her pilots of what her plans were for the comp and so far the reaction from Black Omega has been truly outstanding. I cant wait to see who they are going to compete against, but you can be sure itll be pretty bloody! Hehehe<o:p>/o:p

This week I sent the CMDRs Battleteam Scorecards for them to start tracking the activity points for each pilot in their respective teams. After consulting with SWL Nightflyer we have also decided to allow all activity since 9/1/02 to be awarded points under the new Promotion/Award System! This should help encourage everyone to be more active so they can earn those promotions and medals! ;)<o:p>/o:p

All DJK and above are encouraged to send a request to the HRLD to have the Alvaakian Lightsaber displayed on their Dossiers. I have also uploaded several custom designs to the House Ronin Group courtesy of KAP Khan of House Dominatus. These sabers can be downloaded from http://groups.yahoo.com/group/House-Ronin/files/sabers.zip! And yes, I have asked KAP Khan about possibly designing a custom Alvaakian Lightsaber with the Ripper emitter. Just before I was about to send this report out Khan replied back and said that he actually does have a custom Ripper on his PC for Alvaak, but his 3D Max program wont work right since he recently installed WinXP. Hes now trying to find a new updated version of 3D Max that will work with WinXP and then hell send me that saber! So Mell, be patient, its coming bro! hehehe<o:p>/o:p

The second round of the Sith Top Gun Competition has officially ended! Unfortunately I lost my XvT match, but to be honest I believe I held my ground despite the nasty connection my opponent had. My opponent for the XvT match had to forfeit due to having a broken flight stick that he wont be able to replace until after the first of October. NF reported that he beat his opponent, so it looks like well both be representing House Ronin in the XvT and XWA platforms in the next round! <o:p>/o:p

I want to tell everyone how impressed I am by the changes being made recently within the Battleteams. Keep up the changes and well have a lot of promotions and medals pouring in VERY soon! Remember, we ARE the best of the Sith! Now we just have to show the rest of the Sith Order WHY we are the best!! ;)<o:p>/o:p
