Krath Tetrarch Report

Tetrarch Daavak "Tronsta" Cantor reporting in for the Angels of Death Phyle, House Aleema of Satal Keto

September 27, 2002 Report #2

The news of the upcoming Master/Student competition had run rampant through the Satal Keto halls. While all members were open to join, the Krath especially buzzed with an increased sense of passion and ambition. Each one wanted a piece of this competition, and from the looks of it, they would get it.

Daavak grinned as he eyed through the lists of the teams formed so far. Most of the Angel's had signed up, nearing the 100% mark. He gasped at the sheer talent that was already lined up to battle for Satal Keto's glory. And he knew that there were members yet to join. Surely the Clan would see its victory at least. Or so he hoped.

He got up and left his quarters, heading down the hall to make his weekly inspection. He first bumped into Sayo.

"You have scored quite an able Master for this compitition, Sayo." Daavak said.

"Yes. Indeed I have. I only hope I can keep up with her." Sayo said, not an unsteady movement making itself known. He was confident. And for good reason. Daavak grinned back.

"And so you shall. Or she will kill you..."

Sayo chuckled to himself and bowed. Daavak dismissed him and moved along. Nearing the quarters of Deus, he peered in saw him busy at work with his partner for the competition, MInerva. He turned and made eye contact with Daavak and nodded. He was busy at practice. The Tetrarch returned the nod and smiled at Minerva.

"Welcome to the Angel's side of the hall, milady." He said, smirking.

"It's a bit dusty in here, Tronsta. Might be a good idea to get one of the locals to come in on the weekends and tidy up a bit..." Minerva chuckled to herself and turned back to her work. Daavak laughed aloud and moved on.

Exiting his quarters, Kaiann made his way through the corridor.

"You're off in quite a hurry eh?" Daavak said.

"Yeah, I'm trying to get a little extra practice time with my student. " he replied.

"Ah, the newly acquired novice. Jagged was his name right?"

"Right, that's the one. I hope you don't mind if I'm a little unseen for the next few days. I really want to get working with him to prepare ourselves for the upcoming trials."

"Not a problem at all. Excellent to see your diligence. Good luck with the training."

Kaiann nodded and made his way toward the end of the corridor. Daavak continued his sweep. He heard steps behind him and he turned to face them.

"Ah, Maradis! Great to see you today. What can I do for you?"

"Just wanted to double check a few things about this competition, Tronsta. I think maybe our team is acceptable. But the Master in charge is insisting I use...restraint in the final trials of the competition."

Daavak raised an eyebrow.

"Restraint?"

"Yes. I am to use powers only of the Hunter rank and nothing above."

Daavak's eyes widened with the endless possibilities of what the last trial would be like to include using actual powers. He ran a finger across his chin and gazed to the floor for a moment. He then looked back up and met Maradis' intense glare.

"Then it shall be done. I'm sure you can handle that..."

"Of course. More than able."

Daavak grinned.

"Good. It will be difficult for such restraint, but better a schooled Krath then a violent Sith to be asked to hold himself back from his full potential."

Maradis smiled and bowed. Daavak dismissed him and made his way to his final stop on his inspection, the quarters of Xrath. Daavak signed deeply and knocked on the closed door. No answer. He knocked once more. Nothing. He nodded to himself and made his way back to his quarters.

While the competition seemed so far ahead, there were other matters to attend to at the moment. On his desk were a few memos to go through.

A small but notable memo stated the Angel's own Kaiann has been awarded with a medal for some recent achievements. Daavak made a note to mention it in his next report to the rest of the battleteam.

In addition, the recent surge of Krath activity had created a new outlet for writings. Orso, member of the Spirits of the Night, had created a forum for any and all Krath scribing and notes. Daavak made a note to mention this as well.

All in all, he was glad the week was over. He closed his eyes and felt himself drift a bit. Instead of catching himself, he waved the door close with his mind and fell asleep.

Greetings fellow Angels!

Let's begin first by reminding all to check the DB news page...

Nothing huge on the list of relevancy here. Order reports and a headmaster report. Some Obelisk issues addressed as well.

I don't have a whole lot of clan news this week. Other than that we are all working hard to get teams together for the upcoming comp. More to come next week.

IMPORTANT!!!!!

The issue of email flooding and spamming over the egroups has been addressed and handled. Here are the new rules of the road for the email lists. Please adhere closely. Misuse will not be tolerated.

1) Official Clan and House egroups are for official and relevant clan and house business ONLY! Please take this seriously as there is enough hatred for misusers to kill a rancor. As stated, mistakes will NOT be tolerated, words from the Summit themselves.

2) For ANYTHING ELSE, use [Log in to view e-mail addresses] . Anything and everything is to be sent here, chatter, how ya doin's, etc. But please remember that chat channel IS patrolled by the Summits. Adherence to CoCs and Clan moral's and ethics must always be made no matter what the medium.

House News

1) MSC III being formed. Not too much on the news end for us since 5 out of 6 of us already have teammates. Xrath, if you need help finding someone let me know.

2) Kaiann was awarded the Legion of the Scholar for his winning the DB Trivia contest last week. Woohoo!

3) Orso, formerly Arania, has created a mailing list for any and all silly, irrelevant, entirely creative works. For more information, please email her at [Log in to view e-mail addresses] .

4) ASSIGNMENT! - Our sister battleteam's TET, Page Miridian, and I have been talking about running a small RPG between our two groups. This is still in the infant stages, with approval needed to come from Shups and some more planning and writing, but we would like to ask our teams for some DB persona information to start us off with.

Please send directly to me a template of your DB persona's information. Please feel out these fields and send them to me as soon as you can.
