SotN TET Report #3

Well folks, welcome to another addition of "This guy tells us what we've done". In the past week we've had a few things going on, namely the "CSK Email Crisis". However, this has been beat with a stick, so I'm gonna leave it alone. However, I realize that some did enjoy receiving 5643 emails/hour from the Aleema House Group, so I'll apologize to those of you that were in this category. Hopefully you're all enjoying yourselves on a different egroup.

As far a comps this week.......hmmm. Looks like the House Motto comp is still runnin', so get to sendin'! Shups wanted tons, he better get tons. More the merrier. Remember, it's OK for multiple submissions here. And of course, the MSC III, which I'll be addressing a bit later in the report. Now, this week I'm running a very small comp, but it should be fun. As of right this second, the dear Tronsta said that he'd like his peeps over in AoD to hop on with this one. While I'm not guaranteeing anything over there, I'm pretty confident that this will be the case. Either way, DJM Shups is gonna judge this comp, so more peeps can be involved. What is the damn comp you say? Well, OK, here ya go:

Description: "Write a brief, advertisement-style pamphlet, brochure, etc. for an exciting getaway to exotic Mos Eisley Resort"

Start Date: ASAP

Deadline: Friday, 04 OCTOBER 2002

Restrictions: NONE....I wanna see some "off the wall" creativity here. Wanna do a graphic w/ it? Sound byte? Do it!

Awards: Crescents for First and Second

Now, on to the Phyle news! A new addition to our way of life! Everyone give a knee-slapping welcome to : ACO Dalthid! This kid does cartwheels, hand stands, and walks the tightrope. Ok, maybe not, but he can sure write like it's goin' outa style! Dalthid is also involved in my next mention: Promotions. This week a coupla cats got bumped up in the food chain. They would be: Dalthid and Jagged Fel...both up to Acolyte. Congrats my brothas! Lookin' good, soundin' good.

It's that time again! (insert cheezy game show tune here). Let's play: "Date a SotN member!"

Orso: She enjoys chatting on egroups, working hard to put the house archives back together, recovering characters created back in the day, attempting to understand the layout of the website, taking on a student (beloved Sayo) for the MSC III, and last but not least: She recently stole Arion's Lawnmower! Way to go!

Jagged Fel: During the week, he likes to pass Krath Grammar and Sith ESET exams, find a master for the MSC III (sweetheart Kaiann), and get promoted. Any young ladies watching, beware: I don't think you can handle this ball o' fire! Good job Jagged.....happy to see you still workin' hard after your explosive entry last week!

Dalthid: Sometimes when he's lonely, he likes to complete his DB History, Krath Grammar Studies, Krath Core Studies, and compete in the House Motto Comp...........all in one day! Wow, I dunno who busted down the SotN doors more forcefully: Dalthid or Jagged?? Hmmm, maybe a poll in the works here.....LOL. Dalthid was on IRC a few times this week, but if you missed out, hook the kid up with an email, and introduce yourself. He won't bite; at least I don't think.

Minerva: After taking a nice hot bath and using aromatherapy candles, she often likes to scrounge up partners for the MSC III (Deus Excelsior) and send in a few killer comp ideas to her handsome TET. Isn't she sweet? But be careful guys, she's a fiesty one!

TK: On rainy days, this cat likes to do the House Motto comp, enjoy his finalist status in the Warning Labels comp, and work on arrangments for the MSC III. Whenever possible, he loves to take in a quiet afternoon of Chicago Bears Football. Now here's a keeper ladies! Thanks TK.

Garou: This studly gentlman keeps pretty much to himself; or at least this week:P

Arion: Must be hangin' out w/ G somewhere?

Page: This exrememly fine guy is enjoying his duites as TET of a kick ass Phyle! He like to get crazy at the SA, and complete the Krath Core, Krath Grammar, DB Leadership, and Sith ISET courses all at once. IRC is one of the way to this sexy beast's heart, as well as some of the egroups (although the chat group is a bit no go). House Motto comp is also a good occupier.

Well, that's what I have, so if any corrections or additions need to be made, let both Shups and myself know, so at least I know and Shups can put out a more accurate list in his QUA report. Thanks! Moving on to some fun ideas here. I've been chatting w/ Tronsta over in AoD about an idea he came up with. He'd like to start up a ROLE PLAYING SESSION to the House. I think this could be a real blast. This would be conducted over email, with Tron and myself as GM's. How would everyone feel about getting involved with something like this? PLEASE LET ME KNOW. In preparation for this, should it be implimented, I am requesting that everyone complete a little character history to be submitted. The way we're figuring, even if no RPG, this information can still be used by other, especially Orso, in other DB activities. Tron put together a little form to use as a guideline for said submission, and it goes a little something like this:

current status(what are you doing at that moment in CSK, ie - working on comps, activities, LOA, etc)
