Subject: House Galthain Rollmaster Report #02

...The Darkness Will Suck You In...

Sith Journeyman,

A week has passed in the dark world of the empire. Even darker still, our Quaestor, Sith Warrior Arso Slyth, has descended from the throne of Galthain. Wishing to pursue further enlightenment in the ways of the Jedi, he is taking a sabbatical for an indefinite period of time. During this

time, he will dissociate himself from the clan and travel the vast

expanses of the galaxy in search of truth and knowledge. May darkness guide you, Warrior Arso Slyth.

Activity Test:

This past monday, I conducted a test of House Galthain. The goal of the test was to see who exactly is still alive. It was not an AWOL check. AWOL seems so...harsh. I was merely seeing who wanted to remain on the yahoo group and who didn't. I also wanted to see how quickly everyone could respond - a preparedness check, you could say.

The results I did receive were EXTREMELY encouraging. I am posting the results for your review.

There are 24 members of this house.

23 of us are subscribed to the yahoo Galthain Group.

13 of us responded to the e-mail I sent within 24 hours.

1 more responded just recently.

9 of you haven't responded. I know that at least 2 of you are alive, but just haven't chosen to respond yet.

1 non-member of the list is also active.

That leaves 7 people who don't care enough to respond so quickly - or maybe they really are away without leave.

In any case, a big congratulations to the 13 of you who responded so quickly. I hope in the future when a battle assignment is made that you participate as quickly as you responded to my email. I trust you 13 will be the future of House Galthain. Make sure I'm right :)

Speaking of assignments: (Ahem...). You guys can certainly respond to e-mail very quickly, but where’s the pilot files, fiction submissions, multiplayer action?! Hmm…

Here’s some stuff you can and SHOULD do…::hint::

Competitions:

A rather small amount of you have not participated in the recent clan competitions. There are currently three (3) going on.

Hacker's Helper:

Congrats go out to Bobxavi, Ashmaster, Vessicant, Lazarus, and me :P who have advanced to the second round in this competition. If your name is listed here, be absolutely sure you submit something extremely hilarious for Round 2: "Error Message: Windows encountered an error accessing the

system registry. Windows will restart and repair the system registry for you. If you then click OK, you may receive..." by This Wednesday Night (11:59 PM). Send your submission to: [Log in to view e-mail addresses]

Emblem Competition:

Make an icon for CSK. Just like the little "e" for internet explorer or "w" for microsoft word or something. However, this icon would be used for just CSK. Think of it like a banner competition for the clan - except make it smaller :P I'm not sure where you're sending this submissions, probably [Log in to view e-mail addresses] though :P Hi Warlord Drako! :)

Specialty Competition:

Think of a specialty for CSK which could be used in an RPG sense. Not "great sith" or "great krath" but rather something like: superior lightsaber craftsmen, piloting strategies, metallurgy specialists, etc. We'll send these submissions to Battlelord Darkonian ([Log in to view e-mail addresses]).

House Roll:

Since the last report, several changes have been made to the House Roll. http://pyralis.knowoutlet.com

Most people (that responded) approved of the site design and were in favor of changing the battle team format. So, I changed it, and I added some pretty good starfighter graphics. I replaced the old T/D (sorry AshMaster, hehe) because it didn't go with the other styles.

Ship names:

AHHHH! You're all lazy :P Only 4 of us submitted ship names to the website, strangely, they were all from Domi's Disciples of Death…hmm… This is the primary objective AFTER you complete the above competitions which our QUA and AED want you to do :)

Also, on the comps, people... I know it's not flying, and that's why you're Sith... However, I strongly encourage you to participate. You never know what type of award might be coming your way. Open up your paint program and start messing around. Icons don't have to be that horribly

intricate :)
