Tomaas nodded to the mirror. The man on the other side blinked.
Tomaas smiled and the man did the same. The Aedile placed his sabers on their shelves and dropped on the couch. Hmm. I could use some sleep.
Yet he wasn't going to sleep. He had just returned from a funeral of one of his friends and his apprentice's grandmother. Since the ceremony had been held on Hoth, the Aedile caught a cold he could not fight with effectively.
Just like now. He sneezed.
Pills, good alcohol, hot water, warm clothes... nothing helped. Nor the light side healing techniques did.
I wonder how would I fight in this condition, _the Aedile thought to himself. _I'd probably tremble and have trouble thinking clearly.
_Suddenly, he realized what the cure he needed.
He sent out a mental probe to someone. She was in her quarters, about to go to sleep. She felt Tomaas' gentle mind sweep and replied with the same.
_I would like you to help me heal myself, Tomaas thought to her. I hope you don't mind? I wouldn't like to disturb you, but...
I'm coming, she replied. He smiled. And sneezed again.
