Deputy Grand Master Report

The GJW is on track to start this month; I am waiting on a few last bits to pull together and then it should be possible to get started. I will give you a week's notice before we actually get started.

Clan Evaluations are starting this month, and will be being done on a bi-monthly basis. The first evaluation will only take in this month, but future ones will take in a full two-month period at a time. This is to give Consuls and Proconsuls time to amend any issues within their Clans that may come to light as a result of these evaluations, and also to give those evaluating a broad spectrum in which to really get an idea of how our Clans are really functioning.

A reminder on the Leadership Studies Course. The deadline on this has now PASSED for current leaders. That means you cannot be positionally promoted until such time as you have passed it; prospective leaders will need to take the course and pass it before they will be allowed to take up leadership positions. This is effective for Battleteam Leaders and upwards. Rollmasters and webmasters probably do not need to take it, but would be advised to do so.

Since my website was finished, a total of 37 competitions have been processed, with only three denied for medal inconsistencies. That means a total of 17 competitions per month that have been approved. This isn't bad, but spread over 7 clans it equals less than 3 competitions a month per clan on average. Once the GJW is over, I expect to see this figure rise exponentially. We cannot expect our people to be active without the activities to be active IN.

Results from the DGM Christmas Bonanza should be out shortly - bear with me, I had a surprisingly large number of entries for some events and they're quite hard to choose between! :)
