Page Meridian sounding off...
Page's Pub
Waking up on the floor of the Pub (his gumont kicked him out last night), Page stood to take a whore bath in the sink. Things were slow as of late, but the Aedile had a strong feeling that it was about to pick up in a huge way. "The Great Jedi War is coming" Page whispered to himself. "We've got a few things going, a few folks promoted, and a few things off of our chests..." Now is the time, with the new year and all, to get back what we had: Friendship! Page knew that a lot of folks here did what it took, long ago, to make Aleema the greatest Krath House in the Brotherhood. He had no doubt that they still have what it takes, and likewise he felt he would see the best come out very soon...
House News
No QUA yet, so instead of me waiting, I'm just getting it going now. Time is wasting!
A few big comps are up and running. Take advantage of the time extension on the Clan comp! Get yourselves warmed (fired) up for this, and the upcoming Great Jedi War. Do we need a QUA for it? Hell no! You all could take the cake with no leadership at all if you worked together! There have been a few cheap shots taken at members lately. You know me as one to not call out members in my reports and nothing is going to change. However, I will say a couple things. Do you want to be the best house in the Brotherhood again? I assure you, it's not far from our grasp. Perhaps some things that have been said are true. Perhaps they should have likewise been addressed in private! Let's let it all go folks. We lost a few folks, but ask yourselves. Did we really lose anybody? Our numbers are low but strong. Our ranks a few but high! We're Krath Damnit! We use our minds, not our numbers. And you all have what it takes. Do the competitions at hand and show the big dogs that we come to play!
Good work by the TET's (as always). Good contact with myself and the Clan summit. They tried to start up an inter-Phyle comp and most folks pissed on the idea. I just did it. Believe me, they got the ball rolling though. The Clan summit thinks we are "weak". I don't. I think we (including myself) have just been a bit lazy that's all :) Now it begins...

You feel a strange twang in the back of your head. Something is not right at your Clan's HQ. You leave your studies and investigate, only to find a horror beyond horrors stalking your fellow clanmates! You track it, trying to keep out of sight, but you fail. The horror has found you!
Use this and write an interesting, original short story. The more unique and interesting, the better!
Clan Competition Part 2
Phase 2 "Turn up the heat!"
*Krath:
Reaching the platform seemed like it hat taken forever, but you finally did it and you are still alive too!
As you reach to the suspended PCON to remove the low humming device on his chest, another flash of light blinds you as you wonder if this is going to become a habit.
As you regain your sight you see that you have been transported into a stone room and notice that two of your fellow clan members nearly appeared at the same time as you did. you are not sure , if they also tried to save the Proconsul and entered after you, or if they were just another illusion. on your guard you greet them and start exploring the room. You see four doors, each placed in the center of one of the walls. you open the doors and to your amazement you find that each opens up to a totally different landscape and place. One leads to a jungle, the second to an ice desert, the third to a forest that very much looks like the Desalmado forest and you can even see the shapes of the clan's stronghold in the distance and the forth opens to a long corridor.
you turn around to your companions and say....
Rules:
Run-on for three
open for Sith and Obelisk as well,
basically you grab 2 of your friends and start writing a story with them, you do it over mail between the three of you only in a run-on fashion.
with setting a limit to three it makes it easier to control and waits smaller . each of the three can chose to be on the rescue mission or an illusion, a sort of an enemy within to foil it. it is up to each of you, and no you don't have to say from start what you, it would only take the suspense away! :P
by the time the deadline is here you should have complete stories that you send over to Consul Drako and myself!
as for the finish of it: what ever way you chose in the end you find yourself in an arena sort of place .

Description: Each Phyle of Aleema will co-author a 5 page piece of fiction with the topic: "Why [ insert name of opposite Phyle here ] is the best one in Aleema!"
Additional Info: Suggested by the title, this should be sarcastically written. Please try to refrain from "getting in cheap shots at individuals", but rather keep in all in good fun. The exact method this will be done is not set in stone, however use of the message board for a run-on is prohibited at the request of the PCON. The suggested method for this is private email to all of your Phyle. I suppose a private, moderated, IRC session could work as well, as could a few other scenes. The goal here is that noone outside your own Phyle should see the work in progress until the finished product. Please keep that in mind. The final paper is to be submitted by each TET by 11:59pm EST on the 31st of January. Please direct all questions to me and me only. Lets have some fun and some laughs!
Awards: Crescent w/ Emerald Star for all contributors on the winning team. The individuals who contributed are defined as those named at the end of the final draft by the TET and ONLY the TET.

Leaving the immediate past behind us, and putting the future and the good 'ol days ahead of us again, we'll be sure to be well respected once again! I'd like to see the higher ranking members up and running again. You don't want to compete in these small competitions? Well, that's not too good, but how about this: You come up with some kick ass comps and let me know, and you can judge them! Get some leadership back in your lives! Just because you don't hold a position doesn't mean that you don't hold a rank and have uber experience. I'm doing it alone here, with help from my TET's who don't have very much more experience than myself. You don't like it? Change it! I want your support and help if you'll give it.
