Promotions/Medals

Heh, where to start with this one. Biggest thing is Rage Akaido got an EH Commendation of Loyality! That's a very good medal to get and I'm glad you got it Rage. A whole bunch of other medals were given out for the Christmas Competition as Gladius swept away everyone. Jason Hunter got 3 Ruby Stars for his participation in the XMas Bonanza and Rage got a Diamond Star for hers. All in all, it was like Christmas all over again, only this time we all got medals. For all of those who did not get medals, better work harder!

Activity

Been some ideas bounced around the Clan about having specific powers just for us. I hope everyone has thought about or at least read about it.

Some activity going on at the MB but not what I'd like to see.

KCC battles are up a little, better than MB participation :P

Competitions

There is a House competition going on right now to prepare for the GJW. If you've not noticed, the Great Jedi War is the biggest thing since sliced bread around here and participation is very, very, very important. Please attempt to do the House comp to help yourself prepare. You are to write about another member of the House. Just be nice ok, everything else is up for your imagination to play with.

You feel a strange twang in the back of your head.  Something is not right at your Clan's HQ.  You leave your studies and investigate, only to find a horror beyond horrors stalking your fellow clanmates!  You track it, trying to keep out of sight, but you fail.  The horror has found you! 

There is a SA design competition going on. Details as posted on the DB site:

This is a competition to design the Shadow Academy's actual building. A solid design for the building will add to the roleplaying feel of the Brotherhood, and this will also likely be made into a Jedi Outcast level.

There are two categories available here - graphical and fictional. Participants may work in teams of two. Teams may only submit to one of the two categories.

Crescent with Diamond Star x 2

Crescent with Ruby Star x 2

Crescent with Amethyst Star x 2

1 set of the above will be for each section (graphical and fictional).

You have until January 31st to get your designs in.

I have listed below the things I expect to see in all designs. These are fairly basic guidelines, but so we don't end up with something way off target...

All entries should have:

• Classrooms (1 per Order minimum)

• Combat training area (for lightsaber instruction)

• Living quarters for guests, Apprentices in training, the HM, staff, etc.

Recommended:

• Recreation area

• Physical training gymnasium

• Force training area

Other:

• YES! PLEASE! Make it as extravagant and cool as you can. :P
  

The building may be single or multi-level, above or below ground... anything you feel works. I will be taking the best design to the DB JK2 mod team after any alterations I feel are necessary to it - most likely for gameplay issues.

As the GJW nears, there will not be many other competitions going on as the War is of high importance. No hints there :)

DB / Clan News

Take a look at your medals and make sure you have the correct amount there. If you find problems and don't report them, I can't save you from the HCI. So make sure you double check.

Not too much going on this week. Results from the Dark Jedi Games has been posted. Gladius didn't do too well but I know some people did send stuff in. I won't complain though because I agreed with the complaints I got about it. So you're all safe from my rage for today.

Like I said before, the Clan might be getting a specific force power. Ours is power over the dead >:) I kinda hope this does get off the ground. It would be interesting at least.

If you have any issues you'd like all of the Clan summits to discuss and find resolution to, feel free to send them in to me and Hades.

If you want to recommend a medal and/or promotion for someone, you are more than welcome to send in your recommendation to me, Hades, Ciara, and Proton. We'll review it and make a decision. Just wanted to keep that open for everyone :)

What an exciting week we had. Many comps ended, many results came out, and many many maaany medals. It almost flooded my email box. :)

That's right, probably mid January the big competition will start. Of course there isn't only alot to win for each member but also a nice souvenir for our Clan and Houses. So be ready.

 

House comp

As preparation for the Great Jedi War you should write a story about someone else in the house.  You can write it any way you want but please try to not do too much damage to the one you write about.  Send them on some crazy mission or have them deal with an apprentice that doesn't always listen, it's totally up to you. No stories longer than 3 pages but they should be least 1 page. 

The person with the best story will get a sapphire star crescent!  This competition starts now and ends on the 13th so get cracking!  If you need any ideas feel free to contact me and I'll bounce ideas with you.

It starts tomorrow on the 4th January 2003 and ends on th 12th January.

Dark Voice #33 delayed

The Dark Voice #33 was annonced to be delayed until February. There were PC problems but non of the already sent entries are lost. So dont worry just wait till February and get something in
