- The Dark Jedi Games feud has ended, so everyone can take a deep breath
and meditate (wait a sec-- we aren't Krath, are we?) in preparation for
the impending Great Jedi War. The Clans are massing their forces in
preparation for this all-out battle, and Clan Scholae Palatinae is in
prime form to do well, with a demoralising victory against once-GJW-favourites Clan Taldryan, and new, refreshing Summits in House Acclivis
Draco and House Dorimad Sol.
- Being the only participant in the House motto comp, DJK Zack Amberam has
won by default. I will choose one of his suggested mottos soon...
- The Consul has returned from his holiday leave, so everything has
returned to normal within the clan.
- Following GM Firefox's decree that any members within a House that are
not also members of a battleteam will be moved to the Rogues, I had to
move everyone into the two battleteams quickly and without consultation.
Warrior Brigade will be the JK2 unit, while Unnamed Brigade (referred to
as such until the new Sergeant, OW Titus, submits a name to me) is the JK1
unit. This does not limit troopers to one platform, but is just a guide
for competitions and training purposes. I tried to place people into the
appropriate brigade suited to their gaming preference, but if anybody
would rather be in the other brigade then they should just email me with
the request.
- With OW Ric Gravin going on extended RL leave, Warrior Brigade is
without a Sergeant. If you are interested in the position, then please

and Aedile Destavol Gin [[destavol@aol.com](mailto:destavol@aol.com)]
with the subject "Warrior SGT Application". Bear in mind that
the below criteria are what Destavol and I will be looking at:

- The Dark Jedi Games feud has ended, with Clan Scholae Palatinae dominating
many events. The final tally is still TBA, but this Quaestor thinks it's
pretty safe to assume we've won. You can check out the individual event

](http://www.darkjedibrotherhood.org/dbjedi/news.asp)- A new melee night has been added to the Obelisk combat calendar. '**Obelisk
Madness'** runs at _7AM-10AM EST Fridays_, and is geared towards
Australian and other non-US gamers who find it hard to attend the
primarily US times of other comps. The host is DJK Selket, with the backup
being myself (OBM Khaen). Only two games were played at the inaugural **Obelisk
Madness** this Friday, so it would be great if HDS made a showing and
got some games going!
-The HDS motto comp run by AED Destavol Gin has finished. The medal has
just gone through for DJK Zack Amberam, congrats!

House Dorimad Sol is well on the path to greatness, and the upcoming Great
Jedi War will be our chance to cast off the cloak of lethargy and
mediocrity that has hampered this house's shoulders for too long. Aedile
Destavol and I will soon be training some people in preparation for the

In other news, I'm very pleased with the activity starting to be shown in
the house. This morning the clan IRC channel (#csp) was dominated by no
less than 6 HDSers, a showing the likes of which I have not seen in a long
time. OW Titus and myself placed in several Dark Jedi Games events, and I
along with new recruit and soon-to-be HDSer APP Warnerve have been
participating in #obelisk events. Way to go, all the active people! :)
