House Marka Ragnos Quaestor Weekly Report

Wedsneday January 29th, 2003

Traditionally I would have a short fiction to introduce the report and to spark the imagination, however, today that is not the case. I am your new Quaestor, Krath Priest Ghost Angel. If you feel you need to see my credentials my dossier is 1325. You should know that like the previous Quaestor's, J'Rai and Tomaas, I will not put up with inactivity. You may be AWOL'd, or worse demoted. However, unlike J'Rai and Tomaas, I will not resign unless promoted to a higher position. So you are stuck with me :þ Odds are that I will outlast many of you who are in Marka Ragnos. That said, I would like to let the celebrations begin.

~~Fiction~~

Angel's long silver hair hung lightly as her force knew to hold it in place. She was coming back from the training area of the cathedral when she felt a familiar presence. "It can't be..." Emotions fought within her as she quickened her pace to her room. She wouldn't dare let him see her the way she was. He had hard enough of a time keeping his hands to himself when she was fully robed, let alone what would happen if he saw her sweaty and in a work-out outfit she could just imagine the blood shed.

After a quick shower, Ghost Angel donned her robes and proceeded to her office. She knew that he wouldn't be there. She would ignore him. She was sure it was embarrassing enough for him to have crawled back to his old room within the cathedral. It had been just as he had left, Angel knew he would be back...one day.

"Tomaas....AND Raistlin....you resigned and now the clan is in even worse shape than I left. I bet the cathedral's office of Quaestor is still open. Ha! I feel sorry for the guy they get to take it, because I'm sure as hell not." J'Rai opened his room quarters. Having heard of Tomaas's resignation, he reluctantly agreed to return. He slammed a bag on the table and a 'ook ook' was muffled. "Quiet monkey..." Rai said hoarsely. Feeling nostalgic, he planned to visit the QUA office. Upon reaching the door, he punched in his access code. "ACCESS DENIED." The computer beeped at him. "Strange..." Rai muttered to himself. Then he felt a presence right as the door was opened. "Rai." "GA!" They had greeted each other at the same time.

"Who'd have thought you'd come back." Ghost Angel said mockingly.

"Oh, I'm sure you did. You silly girl." Rai said tauntingly. GA smiled softly, a smile he had come to miss. "So, you got the job, eh?" He said jokingly. "The house is in real trouble now." "You want the house Rai, you can have it." GA said, reaching for her lightsaber. "Its not nice to break into rooms that you don't belong in after all." She added. Rai merely smiled. "You're welcome to it GA. Very welcome to it. I'll look forward to being bossed around by your lovely self." He turned on his heel, winked at her as he looked back and then proceeded off to the bar. "Perhaps you can hold the house together..." The Epis said as he walked away.

Report day may change, pending on what Goat has to tell me. So keep a heads up for that.

I'm sure some people missed you.

J'Rai passed a bunch of exams. An example for all of you, it expands your ID line to do the exams and they are an easy way to burn time.

By the end of the week I will have a run-un up on the message board.
IRC - the HMR channel on undernet has been closed. This does not mean that it does not exist. If you are part of HMR, you will be in #hmr channel.

~~Competitions~~

Weekly One Liners - Just something for fun. People seem to like quotes and such. Every week, there will be a quote contest. The best one from each week will be entered into the 'Great Krath Quote Archives' Where all can see the witt of the Krath of HMR. ^^
