[ SA Site ]

The new site should be available shortly. Aside its awesomely beautiful interface, it also has a nice little backend database, courtesy of CG and JaM3z. w00t.

The new Sith battles may be a while in the making, due to unforseen difficulties (read - Pyralis is having trouble tracking down his key for the full version of AlliED, and I'm busy-ish. :P). The new site will go up sans these battles, and they will be added when they're finished.

[ Combat Academy ]

In addition, all questions regarding the Combat Academy should now be sent first to [Log in to view e-mail addresses] and [Log in to view e-mail addresses], then second myself. I enjoy being CC:'d, because mail is fun, but I'm going to see if these two upstanding young Dark Jedi can fulfill the requirements of the job. ;)

[ New Courses ]

One of my goals as Headmaster is to see a constant flow of new material, to keep the Academy from stagnating. I'm personally looking into writing a few new Obelisk courses - including an extensive look at the lightsaber - and would like to see other people bring me new courses. My Praetor, Pyralis, is currently revising the third installment of the __ET courses (ISET, ESET). This time, you all get to learn about... capships! Expect that sometime in the near-ish future.

You may be wondering what the flippin' heck that title has to do with anything. Well, in one of my rasher moments - back in the day, that is :P - I asked the Houses and Clans if they would like me on their mailing list. This was mostly in the interest of keeping everyone happy, and ensuring that the DC hear about the gripes (apparently, GJW scoring is one of the newer ones...).

Well, I'm on Galthain's mailing list, and they have this nifty little system where any member of the House can challenge any other member of the House to a score-based duel. And, apparently, I've got honorary membership... so, I got to fly! :P

In the upset of my flying career, I beat Mell by a single Z-95 in score. In the next 2-3 days, I'll find out how I fared against Drako.

Sorry Mell, I had to. :P
