Quaestor Report

Report time again?? Well yeah I guess it is. Anyway, in this report you will find the usuals plus a little extra. Tell me what you think of it!

Promotions/Medals

Had a few medals given out this past week.

1 Sapphire Star for Rage Akaido

1 Amethyst Star for Demerzel

2 Dark Side Scrolls for Demerzel

I like seeing awards given out :D

Competitions

Well nothing much here except the Great Jedi War! Got lots of time this round to send in a poem and a story plus anything you'd like to send in for the open event. URL is as always http://www.darkjedibrotherhood.org/dbjedi/dgm/index.htm

Don't forget to CC me so that I know what all you've done. I know I've been a bit inactive here lately and things are not going to get better for a while. I got big stuff to do for college that's demanding lots of my time. I will be here always if you'd like for me to look over your submission before you send it in.

Clan/House News

Well with the GJW going on, nothing much happening.

There will be a big Clan competition after the GJW so if you have any suggestions about events you'd like to see, give Ciara or me a yell. Can't make a great competition if it doesn't contain things people like.

Telona's Funnies

Read at the risk of your own brain cells!

Brought to you by Darwinawards.com The Darwin Awards commemorate those who improve our gene pool by removing themselves from it. May we all read about the folly of others and have a laugh. Tell me what you think about this. If you'd like to see it again or not.

Bees 1, Humans 0

2002 Darwin Award Nominee

Confirmed True by Darwin

(23 September 2002, Brazil) A farm keeper from São Paulo decided to remove a beehive from his orange tree. He didn't know exactly how to proceed, but he knew the hive should be burned, and he knew bees sting. So he protected his head with a plastic bag sealed tightly around his neck, grabbed a torch, and went off to fight the bees. His worried wife went to look for him a few hours later, and found him dead. However, it wasn't the bees that killed him. The plastic bag had protected him from smoke, stingers, and... oxygen! He had forgotten to put breathing holes in the bag.
