Dark Greetings.

Few days ago HM Mage wanted to find out few things from each DB House, and today I sent over to him our answers. My personal thanks to Var, Shikie and Qui, who helped me with that. Thanx guys :)  



DJK Jaza Iksiar came back to House Ronin! Welcome back dark brotha ! We're glad to have you back :) Jaza wanted to join Black Omega and that's the place where he is now, flight I :)

As you know QUA Daniel Goad is on leave. He will be back by two weeks. Till then I'm in charge of the House, so everything you would direct to him, forward to me.

News.

    1. GRD Shikie passed Obelisk Core exam! Great work Shikie! I would like to see you all guys taking SA courses, remeber that there in no knowledge that wouldn't be a power. Go and check the SA (new look of SA rocks IMO btw ).   

    2.  PRT Vorgir has been promoted to the rank of Guardian amd GRD Chaose was promoted to the rank of Jedi Hunter Well deserved both of you, congrats! :)  

    3. SW Vargas Lornan was awarded with Legion of Scholar for creation of Trivia, after DB meeting on #db. Var is our expert from SW Universe area! Each week I'm telling in reports about LS for him, you rock Var, congrats! ;)  

    4. And another medal award for Var! This Sith Warrior is a roll model for us all, BIG congrats on your Steel Cross brotha !   

    5. DSSs have arrived! That means new Dark Voice #34. I'm proud to say that again House Ronin showed excellent presence with submissions.! :) Special congratulation to JH Wisal who was awarded  with the Dark Cross for his fiction which gained title: "Story of the Month" !

Things that every Sith should know.

Today I decided to tell you about my personal type of ship - TIE Phantom. :)  

First what you need to know about TIE Phantom, is the fact that this perfect, excellent and very precious starfighter is standing in House Ronin hangar, and don't you dare even touch it!!! If I see a single screach on the surface, we will have some example execution in the House!! :P This precious TIE Phantom - "Scarlet Shade" is my treasure... it's MINE and mine only! Go away!! Aaaaaaa! I'm starting to going crazy! LOL

TIE Phantom is the ever first starfighter to have a cloaking device in the Galaxy. The cloaking device acts like a shield to render the fighter totally invisible to sensors and visual sight. The TIE Phantom project is a breakthrough in cloaking technology, Imperial Engineers have been able to get such a device small enough, as well as drastically lower its power needs so it can be installed on a starfighter. The cloaking device itself requires Oridium Ore for it to operate. Unfortunately, the TIE Phantom has to decloak to be able to fire its weapons and apparently a decloaked TIE Phantom can partially detect cloaked TIE Phantoms Even though the Phantom fighter has to decloak, they can still get the drop on the enemy and surprise attack them.   



After the battle of Yavin and the destruction of the Death Star, the Rebel Alliance proved that they were a serious threat to the Empire. The Empire forced to take that threat seriously, responded with new technology and weapons such as the Dark Trooper project and the TIE Phantom. The TIE Phantom research, under the direction of Admiral Sarn, was conducted in the Dreighton Nebula. The Nebula, the site of a major battle in the Old Republic was rumored to be haunted and the source of ships mysteriously disappearing. This provided perfect cover for development of a top secret stealth starfighter.   



The TIE Phantom packs slightly above normal firepower for a starfighter of it's class. However the main improvement of the ship was a cloaking device. With the stealth shield in place, short and long range detectability of the ship was almost non-existent. Should the Phantom have gone into wide production, the Empire would certainly have had the upper hand. Sigma Squadron, the first wave of these deadly TIE fighters, came within 12 hours of launch before the construction facility on Imdaar Alpha was destroyed, along with the Empire's stockpile of the ship. Admiral Sarn's command ship, the Super Star Destroyer Terror was also eliminated along with the base. The admiral was retired from active duty personally by Lord Vader. The Rebel strike team, commanded by Ru Murleen captured one of the precious vessels, but the fighter was destroyed at a rebel base due to Imperial security fail-safe measures.
