The GJW has yielded Phase 1 results with some good scores for CSK and Aleema:

DJK Dalthid: 1st place in the Ritual, and 15 pts!!!

KE Kaiann: 2nd place in the Ritual, 10 pts!

KPN Troutrooper: 2nd place in the Story, 10 pts!

Runon: 2nd place for CSK, 10 points!

Other CSK scorers:

DA Reinthaler, Galtahin: 1st place graphics, 15 pts!!!

SBL Gord Darkonian, PCON, 3rd place graphics, 5 pts

Galthain's TIE team: 2nd place, 10 pts!

So, two gold, four silver and one bronze Nova for CSK and one of them's a team effort from which almost all of Aleema will benefit (note: it's not official that runon participation will yield Novas, but extrapolated from previous GJWs, it will)...

Oh... and we're in 2nd place, less than 4 points behind the leader (that treacherous Clan called Arcona you sure can't want to see win, can you ?)

SO FAR!!!

We're only half done! That means that we'll have some more to come our way!

HOUSE news:

We have a new AED! Congrats (and a big THANKS for the excellent work already) to DJK Dalthid, new Aedile of Aleema! Dalthid, that's exactly wnat I want to see from an AED - lots of activity in public (that sure does NOT need approval!) and concerns in private. Great work, I'll love to see more of this!

Also, it's a special occasion to celebrate: We got to witness the most important promotion in the career of any Brotherhood member on one of our own. Former Jedi Hunter silent has been granted full Knighthood for an absolutely outstanding burst of activity incorporating not only a 100% record on the GJW so far but also EIGHT Dark Voice submissions on top of that in this busy time, one of them earning featured status. If all of Aleema were this active, we'd be winning the GJW for CSK alone, so I entered for this more than deserved field promotion. Silent, wield that lightsaber with pride and use it for the Clan just as much as you have previously done with your lesser weapons!

Get your entries in for the Krath events, the Phase 2 graphics and stay tuned for the battlegame. The rules for that are still not understood completely even in the summits but as soon as we know more, we will inform you. For now, try to be in #shadowacademy on IRC as often as you can at

6pm GMT

= 7pm CET

= 1pm EST

= 12 noon CST

= 11am MST

= 10am PST

and get ready for trivia or a webhunt at that time - I expect of ALL Aleemans to take part AT LEAST ONCE! You will score the Clan a point even if you play only once. Of course, if you want to fight for the big bonuses, you should be there as often as possible and do well.

IMPORTANT: When ready to play, change your IRC nick to incorporate SK as a Clan identifier, e.g. SK_Kaiann or SKDalthid or SK_silent or whatever

(And yes, I'm still fighting to get you your DCs even though the CHAN said there's to be no medals simply on GJW participation. He's favorable to my argument and trying to get approval from above to allow it - if it's not working, please don't blame Shadonyx, it's a top-level decision in that case :-/ )

I'm sure I missed something in this eventful week I was away in, but I hope I covered the important stuff.

ACO Xehr (formerly Draken) has returned from the Rogues and will be a welcome addition to out GJW Phase II team!
