Delphian Squadron Report #2 - 03/07/2003

Welcome to Delphian Squadron Report #2. This report will cover last week and this week, due to the incompetence of your commander. :) We have a very busy few weeks coming up. The Great Jedi War is THE most important event in the Brotherhood, so we must put forth every effort to succeed. We did exceptionally well during the first round, and now we must work our butts off to really make it count. The wargame is going to go fast, so we need to do our best to stay on top of things. If you get lost in what's going on, just drop me an email and I'll do my best to help you get caught up. I'll try to be on IRC as much as possible, and those of you who use AOL or AIM can reach me under the screen name bigredf1418. I'm on AIM or away almost all the time, so feel free to drop me a message. Anyways, on to the report.

Squadron News:

-Round 1 of the Great Jedi War as come to an end. We had 100% participation in Delphian Squadron! Well done to all of you!

-Several medal awards were processed last week. Congrats to the following pilots:

GRD Rebelkiller - Star of Eos

SBL Ricardo - Dark Cross

-Round 2 of the GJW has begun and is top priority among our activities! We have plenty of MP and SP flying going on, as well as the battle plan comp, the evil mastermind design comp, and Graphics 2!!! Plenty of activities to participate in and win points for Satal Keto!

Current Events and Orders:

-Participate in the Great Jedi War! This has absolute priority! Stay alert for email warnings for battles daily. Go to #shadowacademy whenever we get a match. Currently we're fighting in 3 different sectors. Go help out! After you've flown, you can participate in the Graphics category. Our QUA has urgently requested that everyone submit a graphic by SUNDAY! Any type of banner or graphic will do. If you have 5 minutes and a paint program that'll all you need! :)

-The Squadron Banner Competition is coming to a conclusion shortly. Submit your banners for the website to me by Sunday. Crescents are up for grabs and so far I've only received one entry!!!

-Recruit! We're only at half strength! Let's make Delphian the biggest squad in Galthain! Hell, lets make Delphian the biggest squad in the Brotherhood! :)

-Remember the 1st Squadron Standing Order: HAVE FUN!!! Any pilots failing to comply with this order will be spooned to death.

That's it for my report this week. I can't stress enough how important it is that everyone participate in the Great Jedi War. This is THE event for the Brotherhood, and we must put forth every ounce of effort we can into succeeding. Failure is simply not an option for us. I strongly encourage everyone to do as much as they can, rather it be flying mp, sp, graphics, the evil mastermind design, the battle plan, or all of the above! So far I've flown SP and created a graphic. You guys aren't going to let a goof like me show you up now are you? ;) Let's get to it, and show the brotherhood just what a dark jedi can do!
