1) I've received a couple of interesting applications for the position of Commander of the Guard. Since I will probably not appoint the new CoG before near the end of the Great Jedi War, I am still accepting applications until further notice.

2) Talking of the Great Jedi War, it seems that some people believe that being in the spirit of the competition is any excuse for breaking the Codes of Conduct on IRC. IT IS NOT!

I've received more complaints about disgracious behavior in the past week than I have in the past 6 months! This WILL stop now! Every complaint will be examined and since I've been accused of being too lenient, all legitimate complaints will be forwarded to the Security Officer for review. Clean up your acts now or you will most likely end up before the Inquisitors! As an added incentive for good behavior, any person found to be encouraging intolerable behavior will be removed from their position and banned from such positions for no less than 6 months and that's in addition to a rank and medal freeze for the same period!

Get smart or get out! I will not let this drive good people out just because a small amount of people think fun means insulting and harassing others.

3) As a clarification, no Dark Council member who participates in the Great Jedi War can earn any points (other than participation points) or any rewards. Perhaps in the future some ways will be found to accomodate those people, but after receiving some advice from the XO, it was decided that Dark Council members could not work on behalf of the Clans during the GJW. I hope this clears up the confusion.

4) I'd like to remind people that both the Dark Voice and the EH newsletters are in need of submissions. The more the better! Keep in mind that the Dark Voice is mostly concerned with Dark Jedi stuff while the EH NLs will accept any EH related submissions.

5) I want to thank Dark Side Adept Reinthaler for the nice new slash page for the Dark Brotherhood website. Go see it! It's worth the look. Some may say that it seems to be too much Obelisk. But who knows, maybe I can persuade Reinthaler to make one for the Krath and one for the Sith. :)
