Dark Greetings Jedis

This is report #20 when I counted correctly dating 22.03.2003 and my first

report - and hopefully not the last - from El Pilar in Belize. Although I

can't do much else so far I at least can sent out my weekly reports to you

(but uploading them to the database is already impossible for me until now)

I still sorting out possiblities to improve my internet access but that will

take a little time.

Due to access restricitions in the connection because of the costs I

mentioned in my earlier mail I don't have access to the DJB.org. I know that

is a problem because as QUA I need to be informed about what's going on.

Therefore I would like to ask you if someone on a voluntary basis could sent

me the latest news on the DJB.org when they are posted (including comments

if possible) so I stay up to date. It has to be a specific person so I can

add him or her to my special accounts that are automaticly forwarded to my

folder. I found out that the subject labeling somehow doesn't work. If

someone is doing it please make your first mail a recap of the last week

since monday. But enough of of my problems let's start with the first topic

and that's as always :

Activity:

during the last week activity dropped rapidly due to problems in the wargame

and the rsulting full stop of it. I can't say anything about that topic

becuase I lack the full picture. The only thing I can tell you is that for

the duration of the stop you should take part in any weekly comps that are

offered and concentrate on the other events that are offered in phase 2 like

the villain or the crest design. So don't just twiddle your thumbs and wait

until the wargame continues but put your energy in other areas to good use

for the house.

Competitions:

As I said above the wargame is on hold until further notice, but there are

other events you can focus your attention on. My rule for rewards, nothing

or boot after the GJW is still operational so I suggest all of you who want

to polish up their dossiers in any way should start doing something in that

war.

Roster:

Hev Randrowan decided to leave to Rogues because of his TC duties, although

I'm sad about that decision I can understand it and wish him the best of

luck in the TC. With that departure we are down to 23 members when I

remember correctly. I wish I had my roster list somewhere at hand but

apprantly it has to work out with out it. If not some of the all time

inactives come back to life during the GJW we will problably experience a

severe dropdown in members after the GJW. Therefore I suggest you try

starting to recruit new members. But you also should take care of them so

they stay active and don't become dead weight like others.

Elevations:

Obi Wan Eden was promoted to ACO due to his continuous activity. Congrats

for that!

Awards:

No medals at all this week, I think that's the first time since I got QUA.

I know you can do better so try a little harder this week so I can report

something here the next time :P

Special Note:

We have a new member in our mail group. It's the newly appointed Emissary

Grand Master Emeritus Jac Cotelin. Welcome! Let me asure you my AED and me

and all of house Cestus will help you in your tasks as Emissary as much as

we can. You see Cestides from now on someone is watching us, so do what ever

you can to impress him :P
