Quaestor Report

Time for another report? Yup!

Promotions/Medals

Lots of Dark Crosses given out for participation in at least two events for the first phase of the GJW. Those who got something are: Jason, Demerzel, Desann, Siterath, Rage, Doc, and Aari. Congratulations to you all!

Desann also got a Scroll of Indoctrination for recruting a new DB member. Keep up the good work!

Competitions

Yup, I am officially sick of the GJW. There are a few more days left to send stuff in. Not many participants this time around but I'm hoping some last minute entries will change that. You have until the 31st to send what you have in.

After the GJW comes the big clan competition!! Watch for more information that will be coming soon, hopefully.

Clan/House News

I've gotten almost everyone to reply to my AWOL check. Unfortunately for those who do not check in with me by the end of this month will find themselves without a house.

Lot's of talk about a new Clan website. If you are interested in helping out, even if it's just some suggestions, feel free to contact PCON Domi. He will love to hear from you!

I'm thinking after the Clan competition, maybe we could have fun with a House competition. What do you guys think?

Make sure you drop by the messageboards and post something. I started a run-on that everyone can participate in. Even those outside our House are welcome to post. It should be interesting to say the least. Go now and add to the chaos!

Swing by the DB news page every now and then to get a good update on the happenings going on. Most of the stuff that's posted is important to know so take a minute or two to catch up on the news.

Telona's Funnies

Not an award winner but very close. It's a good lesson to all you would be parents out there.

Child Pandering

2002 Honorable Mention

Confirmed True by Darwin

(19 October 2002, Portugal) Parents take note! Catering to a child's tantrum can have dire consequences, as a Caldelas mother recently discovered. When her four-year-old son refused to eat his soup unless she let him play with a gun, she handed it over -- and was promptly shot in the stomach by an accidental discharge. Although she survived, her dangerously questionable parenting practices earn her an Honorable Mention. DarwinAwards.com © 1994-2003

Well that's all for now folk! Have a fun and safe week. Remember, arguing about the war will get you no where so go post something funny instead on a MB.
