It has been pointed out to me this week that I have been neglecting my duties by not awarding this sooner. I agree. This should have been done some time ago.

This is the first GLS I have awarded in about a year as Grand Master. Considering that in the past many awards were given for frivolous reasons, I think this one is very important.

In the past I have always had difficulty when it comes time to reward my subbordinates and this is unfortunately no exception.

Astatine has been a friend, a loyal DB member who has always had the best interests of the DB at heart. His work has never been properly recognized and while the general members couldn't always see what he was doing, I could. He, more than anyone else, deserves this.
