Normally that would be "okay" but I have come to realize that I am not one of those folks in Aleema who are actually entitled to an opinion. It would be stupid of me to think that a thing like that would ever change with the way the House currently stands; as it has been this way since I have gotten here. Unless you are among the choice few...you do not have an opinion, and you are not entitled to one, and heaven forbid you ever express it.
Anyway...the KCC is back online. For those of you who don't know, the Krath Combat Center is a place where you can go to "duel". It is not your average gaming scenario as there are no game pads, joysticks or CDROM's. The duels are completely written by the duelists with primary focus on your imagination, character sheet and situational understanding. It is quite a lot of fun and in most cases it doesn't matter what rank you are as long as you can write in the guise of the events as they unfold. For example; yours truly was fortunate enough to beat our former KHP while I was only a Jedi Hunter...I'd have to say in his defense, that it was a pretty wacky scenario built in my head...so he was bound to lose...hehe.
There is a new competition out: The Independence Games 2003. It is a Brotherhood-wide event currently in its beginning stages so right now only summits are participating to get the events in line. It should be an excellent competition with a lot of versatility. **Mechanics:** Write a "log", "journal entry" or "diary input"
(whatever you want to call it) depicting a day in the life of your
character. It can be in the guise of the current events between the EH and
DB, or it can be something completely unrelated. The "mood" is up to you -
the "vernacular" is up to you. There is a "no holds barred" on language
should you decide that you need expletives. There is a catch though...you
ready? Your entry must be written in the 1st person! (i.e. - "I" did this
or "I" did that).
**Awards:** 1st; Cr-1S/2nd; Cr-1E/3rd; Cr-1T
**Format:** Prose. Min 1 page. 10-12 pt Arial or TNR font.

**Description:** Members of Angels Of Death will write a poem, fiction

graphic detailing a celebration. It could be the End of
Phase 2 in the GJW, it could be a simple
party, or it could be a wedding. The most creative/fun
entry will win 1st place. There are medals for 2nd and
3rd place too!

than 2 pages, and graphics NO BIGGER than 1MB. 20
days is the duration of this competition!

The Phyle comp is still on. The KCC and
battleboat stuff is currently on hold due to the Mystics trying to
figure out who is still left, however, we can continue with the
cross writing and the Romeo and Juliet rewrite. Current teams for
