'You've got this, Siv...'

Pale blue fingers trembled as Sivall's raised hand floated in the air in front of the door to Ood's office. She knew why he had called her here but that didn't make it any less terrifying. A second passed... then two... then three. The Chiss stood there in complete silence, barely breathing, trying to will herself to knock. Thankfully, the door swung open before she could knock and made the decision for her.

The Neti Quaestor of Galeres stood in the now open doorway, looking down at her. It had been a while since she had seen Ood and she had nearly forgotten how tall the tree-person was. Sivall's hand dropped to her side now that there was no need to knock and hung there.... were her arms always this heavy? Did her heart always pound that loud? Were her palms always this sweaty?

"Are you just going to stand there all day?" The sentient plant's voice was tinged with a bit of humor. He stared at Sivall for a moment longer before turning and moving deeper into his office. Red eyes followed his movements as he moved away from the door and towards a desk.

Siv then took a deep breath, squared her shoulders, and followed him into the office.

"No, sir. We have work to do."

"That we do."

Hello all, it's nice to meet you! I'm the new Aedile for Galeres.

Some of you might already know me, I'm a pretty normal figure around the discord chat. I go by Tor or Siv. I've been in the Brotherhood for less than a year now, but all the same I've tried by best to pack that time with as much as I possibly can.

In the interest of actually doing my job, here's a bit about my career in the club so far; I've competed, held, and placed in a handful of competitions. I've helped several members of Arcona craft storylines, helped with co-ops, and even created the emblem for our wonderful Selen Training Corps. I've dove headfirst into the Envoy society, spent more than enough time buried in SA Exams, and have tackled just about everything the Brotherhood has to offer.

Outside of the DB, I have around a decade of experience in moderation and roleplay settings, as well as helping to create and balance several T1 roleplay systems. I'm an avid writer and reader, and I'm never one to back down from a challenge. I'm finishing out a degree in Business Administration, I work full time in Clinical Research, and I have a knack for databases and coding.

I'll go much more into detail about my plans as Aedile at a later date, but I'm excited to work with Ood and the other staff of Galeres to start crafting interesting and engaging storylines. I'll try my best to always have something going in the house, and check in on everyone to see if there's anything I can do to make your experience better.

I'm hoping to use my storytelling along with my fellow house-members to create a more extended and three dimensional Galeres. I want there to be something for everyone here, whether that means a plot hook or something to waste the time away with. I want to give back to Arcona and this house the welcome feeling I have always experienced since I came to the club. I hope to also help foster more relations between HG and HQD-- we are all Arconans, after all.

I'll be working closely with Ood to try and foster the best experience I can. Galeres has always been stuck in a box of "military police" and I feel like they could be so much more without stepping on the toes of Qel-Droma. A field medic corps, humanitarian outreach program, disaster relief team, and so much more are in my sights for the House of Arcona that walks in the light. More details to come as I settle in.
