A Wildcard Appointment!

We've chosen our new BTL, but, they're not going to lead the Templar Jensaarai.

hmm

A Familiar Battleteam:

Following a few internal discussions about issues surrounding the Templar Jensaarai, from the unit being a little too niche for our newer members, with their foundations initially being in Legends material (though now appearing tangentially in Canon), and their scattered nature leaving each BTL to try and come up with their own individual 'Chapter' as the group was amorphous, leading to a problem with continuity and hard identity, coupled with (two-thirds of our) recent applications, a recent roleplay venture, and the unit being an overall favorite (when it wasn't being a narrative thorn in our side during reorganization efforts), we've chosen to resurrect the Wildcards.

Initially considered in place of the Templar Jensaarai, then considered for reactivation after their second BTL's tenure, and discussed even during the most recent stint while considering paths for the unit's storyline, the definite exterior call for the unit's return was the sign we were looking for.

The Idiot's Array and her lifers have been shuffled around a lot through recent years. From near decommissioning, to serving as a search and rescue vessel for the O.U.S.C., before ultimately going rogue, once again, and returning to their rag-tag ways, suiting their own mercenary ways. What they'll get up to is anyone's guess, but one thing is for sure: it'll be utter chaos with their new Captain, Vigo Zakirov.

So who has Sealed the deal?

If the .gif, Character name, and my obnoxious capitalization haven't given it away already, then you'll be surprised to learn that the new Battleteam Leader of the Wildcards is none other than Seals! She's come to us with earnest discussion and concerns for the unit, plans for the future of the unit, and expectations for how to progress, as well as forethought of what help she will need in getting things off the ground as well as her own potential shortcomings, all of which we planned for in our own leadership goals.

We will be working to keep a balance between the Houses and Battleteams over the coming months, with some discussions having already happened, and we know that the reintroduction of The Wildcards, a team with less focus on Force Users, will be interesting to several of you. If you have interest in changing teams, just catch Jack or me in #the-enclave or DM us directly, and we'll discuss movement.

That said, we look forward to the storylines Seals will develop for the Wildcards alongside the rest of the Summit, and hope that all of you will continue to welcome and support Odan-Urr's latest Battleteam Leader!
