The dimly lit war-room of the Anvil was from where the hammer of Clan Vizsla swung.

Flickering terminals were manned by select personnel, members honor-bound to safeguard the secrets of the Clan even though some of them weren't direct followers of the Mandalorian code, nor were these men and women slaves to their masters. Rather, they were rescued or spared in one way or another as children, from atrocities so heinous that they willingly swore fealty to the Summit and to the Summit alone. A unit of guards who were loyal to the office. Loyal to what it meant to lead Vizsla.

The intelligence division answered to no one outside of the Assembly and for the most part were unknown infiltrators, phantoms, that ear lurking around the corner, a distant whisper, or the cause of that uneasy feeling of being watched that sent shivers up the spine.

One such individual, a cloaked Shistavanen named Grood tapped at an assortment of flashing touch screens and cycled through pages as fast as the dexterity in his fingers would allow. Korvis, Juda, and Shooter, who had been patiently waiting for Grood's report, were fully armored and weaponized as they stood, arms folded across their chests.

"His head, Juda?" Korvis let out a sharp snicker.

"He defiled our ceremony and disrespected us in our home." Juda twisted his head to face his Consul. "I wasn't going to bend the knee to that imposter, were you?"

"No, and this leader of Clan Fero isn't goi-"

"Excuse the interruption, sir," Grood growled,"But are you referring to Cagg or Sunda?"

Shooter stepped forward and took a closer look at the screen which displayed two dossiers that Grood had compiled earlier that evening.

Mcgavin's eyes fluttered across the screens and his mind soaked up the contents like the guts of the Gutter-boyz soaked up alcohol on the streets of Daemunn's city of iniquity, King's Dawn.

"There's a station here," Shooter thrust his finger towards the screen. The possibility of some action made his loins quiver with excitement.

"Better yet," Grood smiled, revealing large slimy canines, "It's a landing platform, a trade hub, and center of commerce for Fero. No one gets to the Stellera System without stopping here first. Adduming our intel is correct, Cagg Tral is the leader of Fero and acts as a self-proclaimed Mandalore while Sunda Shrike is his right hand man. He's also a member of his blood-pack."

"Family?" Shooter tapped his chin.

"I think your species refers to them as cousins."

"Interesting," Juda surveyed the material himself. "Says here that Shrike leads the Fleet which means Cagg is probably holed up somewhere planetside. Who is this?"

"Su Well, an unknown entity. The name keeps popping up in communication feeds but little more than that is known I'm afraid."

"We can speculate all day but what we know for certain is Cagg will want revenge. It's only a matter of time before they mobilize against us. If he's claiming Mandalore status, he has to retaliate or he will appear weak." Korvis began, "however, rather than go on the defensive."

Shooter grinned, "we take it to'em?!"

Korvis nodded his head. "They won't be expecting an assault so soon-"

"We need to plan this carefully, Korvis. Revealing our full hand now would be foolish. Instead," Juda paused as his mind rattled through various scenarios, "Deathwatch and Wren should take point and assemble strike teams to scout Stellera. They probe the enemy fleet and report directly back to us. When Clan Fero intercepts, and they will, that's when they'll witness the full power of Saxon hitting their flanks."

"A sound plan. Let's see how this unfolds. I want that station, Juda. Brief the commanders of Deathwatch and Wren."

That's right, it's Great Hunt time!

In summation -

Clan Vizsla has been challenged by a rival Mandalorian Clan, Clan Fero. Going on the offensive, Vizsla has prepared a strike team to assault a Clan Fero space station. This is where you will make a name for yourself, be that as a bounty hunter, mercenary or Mandalorian, glory awaits!

This competition will have 2 phases each covering a 2-week period. Each competition will award crescents, credits, and points that will determine the Victor of the Great Hunt.

  • A parent competition tie will be broken by the most total placements.
  • Points will be awarded according to placement focusing on quality over quantity. Therefore the awarded points will be as follows 4 points for 1st place, 3 points for 2nd place, 2 points for 3rd place. Participation will be worth 1 point.

  • Tips: In the above fiction, there have been several additions to Clan Vizsla Lore. I have created/eluded to a gang of riff-raff called the Gutter-Boyz that operate out of a new city in King's Dawn and have created a new branch that will work closely with the Clan Summit and Saxon military. Think of these guys as secret agents, a splinter cell, that operates from the shadows. Feel free to use these new elements when creating your stories as some of your ideas may be used in future wiki updates as they are fleshed out in more detail after the war. I left them vague so as to give the membership creative freedom.
