Greetings all. As the newly selected consul of Clan Plagueis it is my duty to pick a right hand man or woman. I loved working with Viv as his proconsul, and I think we'd both be very comfortable in saying that we were partners in the running of Plagueis more than anything else. That's what I'm looking for: a partner to help run Plagueis for the foreseeable future.

I'm going to be accepting DJB-wide applications which can be e-mailed to me up until 11:59 EST on Monday, September 7th. Applications should address two topics: why do you want to be proconsul of Plagueis, and what do you see as your main job as proconsul of Plagueis? As proconsul, you should also be aware that some of the general requirements are a generally maximum 24 hour e-mail turnaround, maintain a good presence with the rest of the summit, proactive promotion of activity and engagement of the clan at large, and assist in the projects that the summit is promoting for the membership.

Anyone who submitted an application for consul of Plagueis but weren't selected I am in the process of gathering them from Sarin and Mav so you can consider yourself automagically voluntold in consideration for proconsul (really it just saves us all time :P). You can also feel free to forward it to me yourself with any updates you feel prevalent for the position of proconsul. Anyone who didn't apply for consul but would feel they would make a stronger case for proconsul (or would prefer it) are highly encouraged to submit applications. You are all wonderful people and I look forward to reading them!

I also reserve the right to close applications early if someone sends me a star-spangled awesome one or I read one of the consul apps that were sent in and am overcome with great admiration.
