Hello Brotherhood, 

I wanted to let you all know that Korvyn will be stepping down from his role as PCON after Pro Bowl finishes. While it pains me to see him step down, he has worn many hats for a long time. We are incredibly grateful for all the work he's done and we have benefited greatly from his knowledge and experience he’s brought to the position. Thank you, Korvyn! It's great having you in CSP again.

Korv has been the cornerstone of the CSP summit during his tenure, his experience, advice, and direction have been absolutely invaluable. He has taught me so much as a leader and I found myself relying on him to help guide the Clan. I cannot thank him enough for all of his help over the past year.

With that said, the Empire finds itself in need of a new Proconsul. So, I am opening applications to the Brotherhood at large. Applications will be due by Oct 19. Please send your applications to me via email: [Log in to view e-mail addresses]

Here is some of what I am looking for:

Proconsul is one of the most crucial roles in the Brotherhood. Proconsul is the Right hand of the Consul and the core of Clan Summit. The expectations of a Proconsul are listed below. This is taken directly from the Wiki.

• To assist the Consul with anything he/she requires
  
• To monitor the activity of Quaestors and Aediles to make sure Houses are running smoothly
  
• To assist in expanding the fictional role of the Clan within the Brotherhood
  
• To make note of leaders and members within the clan worthy of promotions or medals
  
• To promote activity within the Clan, Houses and Brotherhood as a whole
  
• To uphold any values or beliefs your clan stands for
  
• To assist in the creation of competitions, vendettas and feuds between your Clan and others
  
• To assist new members in becoming oriented with the Brotherhood and Clan, to further the development of new members through instruction and guidance, to provide a timely answer to any questions a new member may hold
  
• To keep track of what you have learned during your tenure to pass onto your successor and help train them for the job

On a Personal note, what I am looking for in a Proconsul is the following:

• An active and engaged leader
  
• Someone who is driven to lead the Clan to present and future success
  
• Someone who is a team player
  
• Someone who can commit to a long term position
  
• Someone who can work with present and future summit members
  
• Someone who can follow direction and meet deadlines
  
• Someone who can contribute to the fictional and community development of Clan Scholae Palatinae
  
• Prior PCON experience is helpful, but not required.
