Members of the Dark Jedi Brotherhood,

The Dark Council, Consulars, and Tribunes have held a discussion on Dark Jedi Brotherhood holidays and we have decided to make a transition away from our existing schedule in favor of a more streamlined approach. We currently celebrate the Exodus, Firefox's birthday, and Jac's birthday as days of celebration within our club. Although all of these dates honor exceptionally important events in our club's history we have decided to change them for a few reasons.

1. Firefox hated us having a Day of the Fox Day.
2. The Day of the Jac was created simply to honor one GM since we already honored another's birthday.
3. I didn't want to have to make a Day of the Muz and a Day of the Sarin in the future.
4. The Exodus, while extremely important in our Club's history, no longer defines who we are or what we do. Frankly, we have tons of EH/DB dual members and its about time we stop celebrating the event to such a large degree (and a lot of us that split; be it in 2003 or in the second wave in 2005, loved the EH) . We will continue to honor and recognize the split, but it will not longer hold "holiday" status.
   

In place of the GM Birthdays and the Exodus we will now celebrate two days each year. The first day will be the Official Star Wars Holiday of May the 4th. The second date will be DEC 16th, in honor of the day we ratified our first living Covenant (DEC 16 2005).

I am greatly appreciative of the DC (CORE and CLAN) for taking the opportunity to provide input on this topic. Amazingly, we were nearly unified in the decision. :p

This decision goes into effect immediately and yes, we will award SOLs again on May the 4th. :p
