Greetings all,

It's been a while since my last news post, but I believe all of us were a little preoccupied with the final round of Fading Light. Thanks to much prodding and guilt-tripping, I managed to go 5/5 this round, which is why I have been less-than-focused on the wiki. But, Fading Light is over, so it's back to business! A new thing I'm going to be doing as part of promoting the Brotherhood's wiki is showcasing pages that earn the right to be a monthly featured article. In the past, members would nominate articles for featured status and other members would comment and offer their support or objections. In the past couple of years, the number of articles nominated and voted upon has dropped so low that we often have nothing reserved for when a new month rolls around. Because of this, I'm making some changes to how featured articles are selected and the criteria that needs to be met.

As part of a trial to see how this works, I will be making my own choices as to which articles are deemed worthy of featured status. In the week leading up to a new month, I'll scour the wiki in search of articles that meet the criteria. However, this does not mean that members can no longer nominate pages. I'll be re-purposing the current nomination page to accept member suggestions. My staff and I will be hammering out the details for Featured Article criteria this week.

Turel Sorenn is a Human male and an Obelisk Knight in House Qel-Droma. Turel grew up on Nar Shaddaa and spent most of his adult life working for the Hutt Cartel rising from low-level enforcer to senior lieutenant. After betraying his employer in 33 ABY the Hutts placed a sizable bounty on his head. Turel evaded Hutt bounty hunters for 3 years until crash landing on Haven.

Tired from years on the run and wishing to atone for his checkered past, Turel agreed to join House Odan-Urr and train as a Jedi. After serving as Knight-Commander of the Knights of Allusis he was forced to leave New Tython and take refuge in Clan Arcona.
