With Benny stepping back and Nora moving onto bigger things before the war, there are not one but two opportunities to join the Fist staff!

Praetor

With a new Grand Master coming into office, this is a critical juncture for the Fist staff and our gaming community. If you haven’t already, I highly encourage you to look over Bubba’s Statement to the Electorate regarding his vision and plans for the upcoming GM term. Joining the Fist staff at this moment will present the opportunity to work on projects and proposals that will reshape the gaming society. I’m particularly excited about crafting the gaming portion of seasons and revamping how gamers engage and are rewarded.

Because this will involve multiple simultaneous projects and proposals, I will need someone with strong organizational and people skills in the Praetor role to help keep things moving and on track. I’m going to need, to paraphrase Hamilton, a person to be my right hand. That will mean close collaboration on just about everything the office does.

So if you’re a gamer with organizational and people skills who wants to help shape the future of gaming in the club please apply! Prior Fist staff experience is a plus but is not required.

Magistrate

Equally important is the Magistrate position who as part of the team will also have an opportunity to help shape the future of gaming. M:Fist duties include helping managing the gaming queue, producing competitions and activities for members and helping evaluate games for adoption as platforms. Magistrates will also help develop proposals that affect gaming in the club and the gaming society.

There are no rank requirements for M:Fist. If you are a gamer and have ideas on how to improve gaming in the Brotherhood or new content we can produce for the gaming community, then please apply!

Be prepared to answer follow-up questions and specify whether you are applying for Magistrate, Praetor or both. I reserve the right not to hire a Praetor this go-round if I do not feel any of the candidates are the right fit.
