Fist Supplemental 5.1: New Platforms

Supported Games Update

Good evening, DB! After a month-long test, I am pleased to announce the addition of two new additions to our club’s supported games library.

Effective immediately, Titanfall 2 and Star Wars: Force Arena are officially supported platforms.

Details for each game below.

TITANFALL 2

Titanfall 2 has multiple options for cooperative play. All of these events meet the Player Vs. Others (PvO) criteria, and will award 2 Clusters of Fire for each submission. As this is a non-Star Wars game, there is a daily cap of 30 CFs.

As always, you must submit a screenshot through the site showing at least two DB members. Ensure your gamer ID is listed on the site for validation purposes. For now, 1v1 matches are not supported. This will be reviewed at a later date.

The following activities are accepted:

  • Amped Hardpoint - Capture and hold a hardpoint to earn points. Amped Hardpoints give double points.
  • Bounty Hunt - Kill enemies to earn points. Earn more by 'banking' bonus points at designated points.
  • Pilots vs. Pilots - Kill enemy pilots. Titanfalls not permitted.
  • Capture the Flag - Steal the enemy flag and return it to your base while stopping the enemy team from taking your flag!
  • Attrition - AI soldiers flood the map. Three teams, two players, one AI.
  • Skirmish - Small scale conflicts.
  • Last Titan Standing - Everyone gets a Titan, and the last one on the battlefield is the winner.

Please ensure all screenshots submitted look like this:

Additionally, you may earn up to five (5) Pendants of Blood for playing Titanfall. Pendants are awarded at levels 10, 20, 30, 40, and 50. You may not earn additonal PoBs after regeneration. Once you have earned five PoBs, that’s it. No more.

Get out there and win glory for your faction, Pilots!

Star Wars: Force Arena

I am particularly excited to add Star Wars: Force Arena to our list of supported games. This game is the first fully supported mobile game in the club, something I’ve been hoping to add since taking over as Fist.

The gameplay for Force Arena is pretty straightforward: This is a MOBA-esque game that pits a main character and supporting AI characters (from an upgradeable deck). Your job is to destroy your enemy’s shield generator before they destroy yours!

During the test, we found that a guild-size limitation of 50 members essentially precludes this game from 1v1 PvP support. The 2v2 PvO events allow for a co-op matchup of 2 DB members against random players from around the world. Should the guild limitation be raised/changed, we will re-assess the 1v1 viability for the club.

Based off testing and average match times, all matches submitted will award 1 CF per match. Since this game is a Star Wars game, there is a daily cap of 50 CFs.

As always, you must submit a screenshot through the site showing at least two DB members. Please ensure all screenshots submitted look like this:

It’s always a great day when we get to add more gaming platforms to the club. I should mention that it’s Gorefest this weekend, in case anyone was looking for a reason to hop behind a controller or a keyboard and try our new games out!

Oh. One more thing. By popular demand, Heroes of the Storm is getting a test. Details here. This event is already live and goes for the next two weeks.

Keep on gaming!

Boom, baby! Awesome update, Drac. Thank you for all the hard work!

Sweetness

Awesome! Force Arena is a big step for the club. Are there any plans for competitions or testing for For Honor?

Yay for new platforms!

Wooooooooo!

Um, on the mobile games, what if we can't do screenshots on our phones?

Wooooo! Dark Sage in Warefare, here I come!

Excellent news indeed, thank you for the vast update.

@Brimstone any mobile should be able to do screenshots, just have to download an app (handful of free ones). Now, if you can't download an app......then obviously that's an issue :P

Also, for those of you in need of a guild, DJB2 still has plenty of spots.

yeah my phone is messed up. google store no longer works and cant download anything, even updating my fb app. it sucks
