[GJW XIII - Discord] Results Timeline

GJW logo

Greetings all,

After a furious five weeks, Discord has completed. Preliminary counts suggest more than 1600 competition entries to all three Phases, and that is before we have properly counted entries for team events. The Dark Council has already started grading entries, and our current goal is to have all results released within the next two weeks. We appreciate your patience over the next couple weeks, but we are looking forward to a speedy turnaround on the results. In the mean time, we wanted to give a brief update and timeline for the next two weeks and reveal the Seal for the war!

The Results

We will release the Results of the War in two parts: the first, slotted for this coming weekend, will release participation numbers and list all of our members that have hit the participation milestones needed to make it into the final fiction. We will summarize competitions and effort in various ways and highlight some amazing entries we have come across in our initial foray into entries. The second half of the results release will declare our event winners, namely the First, Second, and Third Clans, our War Heroes, and our Theater Victors. We will also highlight Clan members taking the most points in their respective units. We aim to have this second phase of results released within 2 weeks.

The Final Fiction

Due to the need to work in so many members and wrap up the fiction, as well as get grading done first, we've currently slotted our fiction to be released just after the Results, two weeks from now, and we will keep you updated on if that changes at all.

Feedback

While we are happy with the War, and especially with the incredible effort put in by all our members, we recognize we can always do better. We have identified certain areas we intend to address for future Vendettas, but we also are eager to hear your feedback, and so we will again be releasing a Vendetta Survey similar to the last RoS Survey. The survey will be released with the Results and be open for about a month. There will be both specific, targeted questions, as well as open ended feedback options. The survey will be anonymous.

The Seal

Above is a preview of our GJW XIII Seal design, courtesy of the Herald. Although Howie has nicknamed this the "Seal of Howie", we think we'll have a bit of a different name for this one... ;)

And a Thank You

From all of the Dark Council, I wanted to give a a special thank you to all of our amazing members for such a successful event. We had an incredible turnout and we are very excited to build on the activity of this event in the future. And finally, thank you to all of our great Clan Summits for all of their efforts in motivating members and doing all of the things. Thank you all, and you'll hear from me soon!
