Phase I Gaming: Diablo 3 Challenge Rift

Competition Link: (https://www.darkjedibrotherhood.com/competitions/15808)

We have added an additional line to the scoring section of this competition to clarify that this is intended to be completed 100% solo.

“This challenge must be completed solo and screenshots that include other players will not be accepted."

This restriction precludes grouping with any other player regardless of if they are or are not a club member.

Hearthstone Reminder

Since we will likely see an increase in activity with this platform during the war I want to remind people of the deck restrictions. This information can also be viewed on the Supported Games wiki page.

  • Decks using "basic" cards are the default. Basic cards are indicated by the lack of any rarity gem.
  • If members cannot agree on the type of deck used, both will use basic decks.
  • If you do not have a Basic deck built, set filter/search and select the "basic" option (underneath "classic") and it will show all basic cards available to build your deck or decks.
  • Note: When you first start: You will not have access to all of the available cards for the basic decks - you will gain access to more as you level the characters by playing them.
  • When choosing to play “Custom” decks, players are free to design and build their own decks and play against one another (Note: not recommended for new players).
  • Note: “Wild” decks must be agreed upon by both parties in a custom match. I also want to be clear what a Basic card a deck is. Basic refers to the card rarity. Basic cards have no rarity gem on them and are given free to all players as they progress through each hero class. You can specifically sort for these cards as you would any of the expansion backs in the deck builder. There may be some confusion with the Classic decks within each class. A Classic deck is a template deck within the game but these decks contain cards of varying rarity, up to and including legendary in some situations. Using a Classic deck is not the same as playing Basic cards only. Classic decks are still considered custom for our purposes.

Co-op Fiction Equal Contribution

Finally, there has been some confusion about how the Co-op Fiction's equal contribution requirement applies. It is not a requirement that each team member write equal word counts. Instead, each team member must provide roughly equivalent overall contribution to the final product, including work planning, writing, and editing. Submissions should clearly identify each member's contributions.
