[GJW XIV] Homefront Results Release - Part 1

header

Greetings all,

Welcome to the first part of the results from Great Jedi War XIV: Homefront. In this post, I’ll go over individual member accomplishments, look at how that reflected across all our great Clans, and look at how some voting and decision making worked out across some of the competitions where a choice was involved.

The Dark Council is hard at work triple-checking final results and working through points to get actual results and winners, but for now, as a first step since preliminary results are done, we can take a moment to look at all the great entries by the membership. I will also be sending spreadsheets to Consuls today that contain all the entries and data for their Clans to review for accuracy as an important step to ensure high-quality final results.

Members that hit every bin

We had 72 members who participated in every bin! This is an incredible accomplishment across the membership, and we were happy to see how competitive everything was across the events. All these members will be featured in the Great Jedi War fiction released as we roll out the conclusion. We have broken out the list by Clan below as well. While there is no special reward or perk for taking on this feat of strength, we felt it warranted highlighting their exceptional effort in the war.

Early Great Jedi War Highlights

While we are finishing up the grading and calculating the final results, we are far enough along to have complete participation to share some early breakdowns.

First, a couple of pie charts to look at where Clans went during the first and second phases of the run-on.

gjw14chart1

In Phase I most Clans chose to head to the Nesolat platform to protect the personnel, artifacts, and research materials there (or steal them). Though Mattock Station and the Godless Matron were not left unsupported, to the benefit of ACE and the Shroud Syndicate as well as our faction allies.

Then in Phase II, most Clans headed into Eos City to a mix of support the citizens living there killing anything they found. While less teamed up with the Iron Legion forces at the headquarters and assaulted the Collective on their western flank.

As noted in the competition prompt all Clans who successfully participated in a theater in Phase I will receive a reward at the conclusion of the war specifically developed by the Dark Council organization they chose to help. Be it the Shadow Academy, Arx Capital Exchange or Shroud Syndicate.

Next, we can look at the individual fiction choices by members in Phase I and Phase II.

gjw14chart2

In Phase I, most members chose to defend Nesolat Platform and aid in the evacuation. With far less choosing to take on the persona of a Collective soldier, and attack and assault the platform.

Then in Phase II, with more options, most members chose to head to Eos City and defend the citizens there from the Collective. With half split between the other two options to either sow chaos and individually try and seek personal gain as much as possible, or go after Deputy Grand Master and stop him.

Participation Results

Now, to share the initial participation results for the war.

gjw14chart3

As you can see, we had some incredible participation across the entire Brotherhood. All of this of course translates to points depending on the participation points assigned to each bin, which will be calculated out and made available with the full placement results. Based on what we see here though, it will definitely come down to placements!

Final thought

For now, we can celebrate everyone’s great participation, while we double-triple-check all the final work to compile the final results and name heroes, and first, second and third Clans of the Brotherhood. We have had a great time reading so many pieces of fiction, reviewing so many graphics and audio files, and reflecting on some incredible gaming accomplishments while we wrap everything up.

We will be back soon with you.
