GJW XVII: Animus Results

Greetings everyone!

Today, I am very pleased to be releasing the results of Great Jedi War XVII: Animus.

Over the course of this war, members from across the Brotherhood came together to write fiction, create artwork, solve puzzles, roleplay, battle in gaming competitions, and contribute in countless other ways. Whether you competed in a single event or pushed yourself to participate in every phase, every submission helped make this Great Jedi War a success.

This report will cover the final clan standings, recognize our highest-scoring members, and highlight participation statistics from throughout the event. Additional news regarding clan credit awards and possession rewards will be released by the Regent in the coming days, while the Voice will soon release the final chapter of the Animus storyline, which will include a number of member appearances.

Before we dive into the results, thank you to everyone who participated. Great Jedi Wars are only possible because of the enthusiasm, creativity, and dedication of our members, and Animus was no exception.

Great Jedi War XVII: Animus Clan Results

After weeks of competition, hundreds of submissions, and an incredible display of effort from every corner of the Brotherhood, we are proud to announce the First Clan of the Brotherhood:

Arcona

With a final score of 5873.45 points, Arcona demonstrated exceptional participation, consistency, and competitive excellence throughout the war.

Following closely behind them were:

Second Clan of the Brotherhood: Odan-Urr with 5633.40 points
Third Clan of the Brotherhood: Taldryan with 3421.95 points

All clans contributed significantly to the success of this event, and every member who participated helped shape the final outcome. The margins between placements were hard-fought, and each clan should be proud of the effort displayed by its members.

In addition to overall scoring, participation remained strong throughout all phases of the war. The following chart highlights participation across each clan during the Event Long competitions, Phase I, and Phase II.

Per the Herald Vendetta Dossier Skin Guidlines the following will be awarded to the top three clans:

Arcona: Robe and Weapon
Odan-Urr: Robe
Taldryan: Weapon

Great Jedi War XVII: Animus Heroes and Top Scorers

While clans compete collectively, Great Jedi Wars have always been defined by the efforts of individual members who go above and beyond in pursuit of victory.

As tradition dictates, the three highest-scoring members in the Brotherhood will be awarded prestigious Hero Titles in recognition of their outstanding performance during the war.

Our Heroes of Animus are:

1st Hero: Velira Morvane
2nd Hero:: Alaris Jinn
3rd Hero: Seals

These members distinguished themselves through exceptional participation, strong placements, and a sustained commitment to competition throughout the entirety of the event. Their accomplishments represent some of the finest performances seen during Great Jedi War XVII.

Of course, excellence could be found in every clan. The following chart highlights the highest-scoring members from each clan who helped lead their teams throughout the war.

Congratulations to all members who earned placements, Novae, crescents, seals, and recognition throughout Animus. Every competition entered, and every point earned, contributed to the story of this event.

Great Jedi War XVII: Animus Participation

One of the most encouraging aspects of Animus was the level of participation seen across the Brotherhood.

In total, 173 participants submitted at least one qualifying entry during the event, while 48 members earned the maximum available participation points by completing every available participation objective.

Across all phases of the war, members generated an incredible volume of activity:

Event Long: 140 unique participants
Phase 1: 140 unique participants
Phase 2: 119 unique participants

Every submission represented time, creativity, effort, and enthusiasm from our members, and together they helped make Animus one of the most active Great Jedi Wars to date.

As a reward for participating, all 173 participants will receive one Seal of Animosity for every competition in which they submitted a qualifying entry.

Whether you earned a single seal or dozens, thank you for taking part and helping bring Animus to life.

Everyone with a Seal of Animosity will have access to use the “The Assessor” honorific on their dossier. These seals will be awarded shortly.

Conclusion

Great Jedi War XVII: Animus was, above all else, a celebration of what makes the Brotherhood special: our creativity, our competitiveness, and our community.

Over the course of this event, members challenged themselves, supported their clans, explored new competition types, and helped tell the continuing story of the Brotherhood. From veteran competitors to first-time participants, every contribution mattered.

On behalf of the entire organizing team, thank you for making Animus such a memorable event. Watching the enthusiasm, effort, and passion displayed throughout the war made every hour spent planning and running it worthwhile.

In the coming days, a post-war survey will be released. We strongly encourage everyone to take a few minutes to complete it. We carefully review the feedback we receive and use it to improve future vendettas, competitions, and Brotherhood-wide events.
