Great Jedi War XII Update
We have two important announcements regarding the Great Jedi War that will be occurring this summer!
First, Great Jedi War itself will begin on August 1st. We apologize for this short delay, but we want to ensure we have a chance to bring the best possible experience to everyone. You can expect a transfer ban to be enacted shortly before the War that will last for its entire duration. During this period, members will be unable to transfer between units. This also means no competitions should be scheduled that would continue past July 31st. The MAA has been notified and all relevant DC offices will be remanding competitions planned for this period with notifications about GJW start dates. We will provide additional information about the War in the coming month to prepare everyone!
Second, the preliminary ACC event, ACC Phase I, is tentatively scheduled to start in a little over a week. The ACC will be part of this coming War in two flavors: Phase I before the War begins, where any member may compete and win, and Phase II, where only the champions of each Clan - and the victor of Phase I - will battle it out during the War itself. Phase I will be an open 'ladder' format where members will compete in the ACC as part of the Great Jedi War. The winner of Phase I will be decided based on the most points earned, primarily earned from winning battles. Summits are reviewing the event rules now, and we will discuss them further in the coming week. This event will count as a Great Jedi War event in terms of participation points for War scoring (more on this closer to the War), seals, and of course Novae for those that place. Furthermore, the individual that takes first place will earn an automatic 'bid' into the tournament during the war itself, along with the champions of the Clans. We will announce additional details about this event shortly, but this is a friendly reminder to get your character sheets ready!
We look forward to sharing more of what we have planned for the upcoming Great Jedi War soon. Until then... Get ready for the ACC!
