Magistrate to the Consul [MCON] open for applications

I'd like to thank Nobilus for his service as MCON and applaud his decision to step back from the role now that he has less time to dedicate to the club. I'm sure he'll stick around and once his time frees up, we'll see him pop up again in various ways to improve the Clan as a whole.

In other news, I'm opening up the MCON (Magistrate to the Consul) position up for applications.

I'm hoping to find an MCON willing to primarily focus on member interaction, new member onboarding, recruitment, and increasing our visibility outwardly as well as inside the club.

However, I'm not going to set a lot of requirements outside the basics for this:

  • Good online presence
  • Desire to make the Taldryanite experience more fun for members, make TAL better in any way you can.
  • Willingness to work with the rest of the summit

The rest of the application, what would you like your time as MCON to focus on?

  • When I joined Taldryan, we had MCON Alaisy as our Dungeon/Game Master, running lots of epic RP campaigns.
  • We've had Morax who interacted with all members and was focused on improving our new member onboarding.
  • We had Meleu as our last chronicler, writing up everything that happened into histories to be added to the DBwiki rolls.
  • We currently also have Jenni who's charged with overseeing the TAL DBwiki and bringing it up to date.

So if you think you can help make the clan better? Let Wade and I know and tell us what you'd like to do in the summit and how you'd be best utilised!

Recruitment will stay open for awhile since there's a lot of open positions so you have a month, and we may extend it if needed but if we find someone sooner, we'll go with them. If this happens and you were working on your application, if you feel strongly enough, don't hesitate to send it in anyway, we can always set it up as a project to let you achieve your idea.

M:CON is a good role to dip your feet into leadership roles, learn about Clan and Community management, and if you're willing to help keep the Tree watered, Ood is far from the worst leader to work with!
