Results for RoS: Meridian!

Meridian

Greetings all,

Today we are pleased to announce the results of Rite of Supremacy: Meridian, to celebrate its heroes, and to congratulate the victorious Clan and indeed all of the competitors across our Brotherhood. Thank you all for an incredible event!

By the Numbers...

The RoS saw 1455 entries from 159 different members, with 100 different members placing in the event. Competition was fierce from start to finish, and our members clearly gave it their all. Many members had incredible performances, with 30 individuals completing every single bin across the entire event:

Arcona: Kordath Bleu, Malfrost Xeon, Qyreia Arronen, Rhylance, Rulvak Qurroc, Satsi Tameike Arconae, Scarlett Kelrune, Tali Sroka, Terran Koul
Naga Sadow: Bentre Kairn'tel Stahoes, Kojiro Keibatsu, Tasha'Vel Versea
Odan-Urr: Alethia Archenksova, Aurora "Aura" Ta'var, Creon Saldean, DeRoark, Jael Chi'ra, Ka Tarvitz, Luna Okami, Val Cole
Plagueis: Arden Karn di Plagia, Scudi Ferria, TuQ'uan Varick
Scholae Palatinae: Alara Deathbane, Darth Aeternus, Elincia Rei, Kadrol Hauen, Shadow Nighthunter
Taldryan: Alaris Jinn, Justinios Drake

Recognizing Heroes...

Some individual efforts stood out, and deserve recognition for their victories over the Collective. These are members whose contributions were exemplary, both through their participation and the excellent quality of their submissions. First and foremost, the Heroes of this Rite of Supremacy, our top point earners:

  • Qyreia Arronen of Clan Arcona, earning 118.1 points, is hereby named First Hero of Rite of Supremacy: Meridian!
  • Alaris Jinn of Clan Taldryan, earning 111.7 points, is named Second Hero of Rite of Supremacy: Meridian!
  • Bale Andros of Clan Scholae Palatinae, earning 84.6 points, is named Third Hero of Rite of Supremacy: Meridian!

These Heroes will soon find themselves granted a title worthy of their achievements. In addition to these three, Kojiro Keibatsu of Naga Sadow, Aurora 'Aura' Ta'var of Odan-Urr, and Kul'tak Drol of Plagueis earned distinction by garnering more points than any other member of their Clan.

To the Victor goes the Spoils...

But ultimately, this event was about the Clans, and only one could emerge victorious today. We have prepared a spreadsheet with a bit more detailed information on the outcome of the Rite of Supremacy, but in this post we will highlight the overall scores between units. Without further delay, the results are as follows:

RoSResults

Congratulations to Odan-Urr on its victory in Rite of Supremacy: Meridian, edging out Arcona for first place by fewer than one hundred points! As winners of the Vendetta, Odan-Urr successfully retrieved the Collective artifact. We will be in contact with the winning unit to discuss the future of the Collective artifact and additional spoils of victory.

As a reminder, this event allocated a large proportion of points to participation over placement, but also helped balance out unit sizes with a bonus modifier to smaller units. In this event, a single member could have earned more than 50 points for their unit if they completed every bin, not to mention increasing the odds of placing. Future events will use a similar system, so remember that every submission counts!

More to Come...

In the coming days, we will distribute Seals to participants, disperse credit rewards to the Clans, open the black market with goods seized in the operation against Meridian, and release the final fictional update of the RoS. We will also be conducting a general membership survey we will use to tailor future events to our membership.

Congratulations to all of our excellent competitors, and to Odan-Urr on their hard fought victory!

Grats COU! And thanks to the event runners for an absolutely fantastic RoS! All that grading, yikes.

Congratulations and well done!

I just want to toss this out: Many people within Clan Naga Sadow worked their butts off. In many ways, we are a clan in transition, that has had to rebuild it's core membership from the ground up. Not terribly unlike the transition that Clan Taldryan is also going through.

Once many years ago, when I was bright and shiny and new, I was a member of the Clan Arcona when we finished second to last in a Great Jedi War. The very next Great Jedi War, we won outright, first place. These results are not a defeat for us so much as they are a place to build from.

For those of us that participated as much as we could, congratulations regardless of the overall results. For those of us that could have stepped up more, now you know the areas in which we can improve and how important the contributions of each and every one of us is.

That all being said, congratulations to Clan Odan-Urr, Clan Arcona, Clan Scholea Palatinae, Qyreia Arronen, Alaris Jinn, Bale Andros, our very own Kojiro Keibatsu, Aurora Ta'var, Kul'tak Drol and every single one of us from the Rogues and any Clan, that participated.

I also want to personally thank Mav, the rest of the Dark Council, the Dark Summit and anyone else who may have been involved in creating or grading these events. This was one of the funnest Brotherhood level events I can remember participating in.

Great work, everyone!
