Why couldn't Anders sort this mess out? Cassandra Orion Tyris, Blade Mistress, Supreme Chancellor of the Taldryan Republic, found herself, once again, repeatedly condemning her Proconsul more and more with each step she took within the Taldryan Tower. She couldn't get in contact with him for whatever stupid reason, and anyone else she asked hadn't a clue as to what was happening. The Taldryan Tower flashed red on the inside, klaxons blaring in high-pitched screeches so deafening it was giving her a headache. The only reprieve was that, right now, at the behest of Shanree of all people, she was accompanied by one of the few people that could do something about it.

“Aylin! Are you sure you can't turn this blasted thing off!?” Cassandra asked the green-skinned Nautolan beside her.

Aylin shook her head, biting her bottom lip as she furiously tapped away at the datapad in her hands.

ACCESS DENIED!

ACCESS DENIED!

ACCESS DENIED!

“GAH!” Aylin shook the datapad furiously. That was not a good sign. “I don't get it! What am I doing wrong!? I never have problems with stuff like this! Whoever hacked us really didn't want us to… wait… I got it!”

Mercifully, the alarms ceased, bringing a much welcomed reprieve to the migraines both women were being subjected to. Aylin, despite this, managed a triumphant smirk.

“Yeah! Aylin one, hackers a big, fat zero!” She gave Cassandra a thumbs up.

The Supreme Chancellor took her opportunity to take a deep breath as she rubbed the temples of her head as she approached her office with Aylin in tow. “I swear to the Force, those responsible are going to pay for this!”

However, when the doors hissed open, both Cassandra and Aylin were greeted by the presence of several individuals in the room that neither expected to be there. One in particular, was one Cassandra and Aylin knew well.

“Cassie!” Erinyes, the Emissary of the Brotherhood, stood with a full bottle of no doubt yet another of TEAD's concoctions. “Aylin too! It's about time.”

“Time?” The Nautolan cocked her head to the side.

Shanree himself stood with his arms folded across his chest, his lips pressed into a smug grin.

“Told you she'd crack the code.”

Justinios, former Quaestor and Proconsul, rolled his eyes and reached into a pouch attached to his scooter. How did he even get that up here? It didn't matter, especially when he threw a fistful of credits onto Cassandra's desk.

“I could have come up with something better if I had time,” He huffed.

“Sorry,” Cassandra had to shake her head, blink, and then gestured around them. “What is going on here?”

“Is it not obvious?” The holographic image of former Grand Master and Justicar Jac Cotelin made his presence known.

Telaris Cantor was not present at least. He was likely still trapped in the Ethereal Realm.

Good.

He was the worst.

“We've taken notice,” the holographic projection of Zxyl folded his arms across his chest.

“I've taken notice of the lack of food,” the blue-hued projection of Howlader said with a grumpy disposition.

Classic Howie, pretty much thinking only of his stomach.

Somewhere, out of view of the projections, Jac tossed a piece of warpath steak in the Master At Arm's direction, the older man grabbing it mid-air and beginning to gnaw and slurp on it with little regard for his table manners.

“The Scions have taken notice of all your efforts,” Zxyl Besulisk, Regent of the Brotherhood, spoke as his voice echoed throughout the room. “You, Aylin, for all your efforts since you arrived here in Taldryan, and there's a lot of it. You, Cassandra, for your leadership of this… Republic.”

Zxyl paused, hesitant to speak that last word.

“Erm… I…” Aylin stammered.

It wasn't often Cassandra was lost for words, but this was one of those rare moments where she was almost speechless.

“We-We are honoured. Thank you,” the Taldryan Consul gave a light bow.

“You earned it. Both of you,” Shanree declared. “Welcome to the family, Sisters of Taldryan.”

“Pfft,” Erinyes rolled her eyes. “Enough of the sappy kark already. I didn't get away from Arx to not party like its 40 ABY!”

Hello everyone,

It is with great pleasure today that the Scions of Taldryan (the Taldrya) announce that by unanimous vote, two new members have joined our ranks (with the above fiction being written by Taldryan Proconsul Anders (Appius)), of course.

  • Cassandra Oriana Tyrus
  • Aylin Sajark

Both of these people have been Taldryanites for several years now, serving the clan through several vendettas and leading from the front lines on a daily basis with participation, quality, friendship, hard work, and being active parts of the community as a whole - not just Taldryan. They exemplify values that we as a club should strive to achieve.

Joining the Taldrya is no easy feat. The requirements are stringent, with the existing Scions comprised of Grand Masters and Deputy Grand Masters, Councillors, Justicars, and numerous other leaders. No Taldrya has ever been convicted by the CoJ, and nobody convicted has ever joined the Taldrya.

Welcome, Scions.
